Timeskip CR Meme

While similar to the CR meme in some ways, the fields within the text area below are meant to facilitate planning and plotting so that by the time the CR meme rolls around everyone has a much clearer idea of what all has been happening and in what direction they are heading, especially as the timeskip looms large on the horizon.

Should you need it, you can always refer to the re-posted Timeskip Calendar for ideas! Characters have already been starting up businesses (coffee shops, playhouses, a P.I. office, even a business selling non-locket network devices!) so be sure to check it out!

If you intend to opt out of the timeskip, please PM the mod account with the dates/nature of your opt out!

As a note, please remember the following:

• There will be no new shardbearers, no monthly events (and perforce no boons). Monarch contact will be limited to include shardbearers highly ranked within their court.


• Fairy rings will be inoperable. Powers, abilities, and boons may be used to allow for fast-travel. Otherwise, characters must hoof it to where they wish to go.


• Lockets will not work. Characters would need traditional means to keep in touch, or need to fashion (or purchase) their own alternative means of magical communication. These alternative devices can be used on the network alongside lockets, and can be fashioned to interact with lockets.


• Border violence will be the norm. Small incursions and raids into enemy territory will be frequent. Unseelie in Seelie territory, and vice versa, will be hunted by patrols/town guards/etc. NPC guards may unexpectedly drop into threads where characters are in enemy territory.


• Boons all perform to their original specifications. None are depowered or vanished, though all would show the signs of age as appropriate for the passage of time.


• Influence and quests would continue to be given and rewarded as normal (one quest per player per ooc month), for our OOC sanity. PCs who are able to give quests are encouraged to have an expanded docket of them at the ready.

Oh, Saber definitely wants Hiro heavily involved in the R&D since he was the final catalyst to get her moving on the idea. As the age of adulthood in Dorchadas is 12, Hiro is considered an adult. So, there is the possibility that he can be the head of the R&D (with deference to Edgar as it is his Spire) and report directly to Saber if she decides she can trust him to keep the project secret... and he can accept that there will be military expectations for the fruits of the project along with bettering the Unseelie people.

...the noise I just made. Yes oh gosh if we can make that work I would absolutely love that! I just wanted to make sure that's not going to be compromised since he's working on the magic guild with Lemina, too, and if Saber approached him on that he'd let her know exactly what he's doing. I have a feeling he'd accept it without really understanding everything at first, but that gives me something to play with for his growth.

Saber needs magic users in the R&D, so she'll be hitting Lemina up to working with the project and some other magic users, so that won't be a problem. If anything, Hiro learning magic just helps the R&D more.

Awesome stuff. I know Hiro's going to ask Edgar if he can have a room in Spire 10 for Lumina and Hiro to practice magic anyway, plus he'll be contact Saber when he's done with his quest. Most likely it'll come up soon on Hiro's end because in the back of his head he's been thinking a lot about what Saber said to him at the feast so o/
