While similar to the CR meme in some ways, the fields within the text area below are meant to facilitate planning and plotting so that by the time the CR meme rolls around everyone has a much clearer idea of what all has been happening and in what direction they are heading, especially as the timeskip looms large on the horizon.

Should you need it, you can always refer to the re-posted Timeskip Calendar for ideas! Characters have already been starting up businesses (coffee shops, playhouses, a P.I. office, even a business selling non-locket network devices!) so be sure to check it out!

As a note, please remember the following:

There will be no new shardbearers, no monthly events (and perforce no boons). Monarch contact will be limited to include shardbearers highly ranked within their court.

Fairy rings will be inoperable. Powers, abilities, and boons may be used to allow for fast-travel. Otherwise, characters must hoof it to where they wish to go.

Lockets will not work. Characters would need traditional means to keep in touch, or need to fashion (or purchase) their own alternative means of magical communication. These alternative devices can be used on the network alongside lockets, and can be fashioned to interact with lockets.

Border violence will be the norm. Small incursions and raids into enemy territory will be frequent. Unseelie in Seelie territory, and vice versa, will be hunted by patrols/town guards/etc. NPC guards may unexpectedly drop into threads where characters are in enemy territory.

Boons all perform to their original specifications. None are depowered or vanished, though all would show the signs of age as appropriate for the passage of time.

Influence and quests would continue to be given and rewarded as normal (one quest per player per ooc month), for our OOC sanity. PCs who are able to give quests are encouraged to have an expanded docket of them at the ready.

also also, because i knooooow this isn't too well known but i know i need to talk to the folks in elf mountain about it - back in December, Thran made back up copies of Waver's personal library as far as the anti-court material in it goes. That material is perma-housed in elf mountain and is in a restricted library. IDK if that's something you'd want to pick up on/have come into play, but I'd be remiss if I didn't mention it

Yes, I know about that. Maglor, bro. ;-; Truth is, if Aragorn figures out what she's doing with his Shard, he would sort of encourage her. Just...ow. Her sword hurts.

Ooh yes we should pick up on that. Any ideas? Extra guards sound like a must. Aragorn will definitely be spending a lot of his time protecting what Thranduil left behind - so a lot less wandering on his part. Domestic!gorn. Haha.

Ahahahaaa. Waver likely won't find out whose shard it is unless told, and HE WILL KEEP THAT SHHUT SO TIGHT.

I actually don't know how known that holding is, but my gut says that's probably like a modern special collections library? I know Waver and Thran agreed that whoever's accessing the library needs to sign in etc. but one can sit there and read for as long as they like!

I've been at a loss as to how to handle that library myself since Thran dropped, so I think that if Waver and Aragorn hit it off, Aragorn could be expected to really maintain the books custody?

That makes sense. The Elves always boasted amazing libraries in Middle Earth - the most extensive/expansive etc. etc. - so this one would be a piece of art all on its own, no doubt.

He would take good care of the books. ~~Do you know how many hours he spent in the library at Rivendell? Omg.~~

Waver's good at sitting on information, as much as he's good at distributing it. Wouldn't have gotten very far without the skill in game!

:DDD We could discuss the library in their thread then, and give Aragorn the knowledge that they're there and will need to be looked after? Waver's worried about them being a liability with Thran's departure since he doesn't know what Thran's endgame was.

Aragorn isn't bad at doing that, though he's damn honest most of the time. But something is telling him to be careful with his knowledge about Saber. (Look at him locking his most recent post. That's mostly to avoid catching Saber's attention. He's watching her. O___O Okay, no, but he's keeping an eye out for any sign of her.)

Books are never a liability. ;-; They're a gift and they'll be protected!

Elves put so much effort into their books and maps. Destroying them is like...completely ignoring the effort they put into them. And that's not okay.
