Timeskip CR Meme

While similar to the CR meme in some ways, the fields within the text area below are meant to facilitate planning and plotting so that by the time the CR meme rolls around everyone has a much clearer idea of what all has been happening and in what direction they are heading, especially as the timeskip looms large on the horizon.

Should you need it, you can always refer to the re-posted Timeskip Calendar for ideas! Characters have already been starting up businesses (coffee shops, playhouses, a P.I. office, even a business selling non-locket network devices!) so be sure to check it out!

If you intend to opt out of the timeskip, please PM the mod account with the dates/nature of your opt out!

As a note, please remember the following:

• There will be no new shardbearers, no monthly events (and perforce no boons). Monarch contact will be limited to include shardbearers highly ranked within their court.


• Fairy rings will be inoperable. Powers, abilities, and boons may be used to allow for fast-travel. Otherwise, characters must hoof it to where they wish to go.


• Lockets will not work. Characters would need traditional means to keep in touch, or need to fashion (or purchase) their own alternative means of magical communication. These alternative devices can be used on the network alongside lockets, and can be fashioned to interact with lockets.


• Border violence will be the norm. Small incursions and raids into enemy territory will be frequent. Unseelie in Seelie territory, and vice versa, will be hunted by patrols/town guards/etc. NPC guards may unexpectedly drop into threads where characters are in enemy territory.


• Boons all perform to their original specifications. None are depowered or vanished, though all would show the signs of age as appropriate for the passage of time.


• Influence and quests would continue to be given and rewarded as normal (one quest per player per ooc month), for our OOC sanity. PCs who are able to give quests are encouraged to have an expanded docket of them at the ready.

...so with this attack on Daonna happening Saber's informants will tip her off that there is a Seelie force heading to the city. She would move to defend the city given its proximity to Redgate. Are you okay with this turning into a skirmish?

Depending on whether or not he wins support from his fellow Marquises, the Seelie force he leads there may well just be whatever NPC soldiers remain at his command; he also has a far greater interest in finding and punishing whoever's responsible for the attacks than battling any Unseelie, especially Saber, so he'll probably attempt to avoid a fight if he can. That being said, though, I'm totally up for a skirmish between them, or whatever else might happen! (I've been looking for an excuse for more CR with these two anyway, haha.)

Why I am imagining the two forces posturing at each other while Saber and Gabranth talk it over at the Sweet Sow over a pint?

Her info would just be SEELIE FORCES MARCHING ON DAONNA, but at least she's reasonable. Sometimes.
