Timeskip CR Meme

While similar to the CR meme in some ways, the fields within the text area below are meant to facilitate planning and plotting so that by the time the CR meme rolls around everyone has a much clearer idea of what all has been happening and in what direction they are heading, especially as the timeskip looms large on the horizon.

Should you need it, you can always refer to the re-posted Timeskip Calendar for ideas! Characters have already been starting up businesses (coffee shops, playhouses, a P.I. office, even a business selling non-locket network devices!) so be sure to check it out!

If you intend to opt out of the timeskip, please PM the mod account with the dates/nature of your opt out!

As a note, please remember the following:

• There will be no new shardbearers, no monthly events (and perforce no boons). Monarch contact will be limited to include shardbearers highly ranked within their court.


• Fairy rings will be inoperable. Powers, abilities, and boons may be used to allow for fast-travel. Otherwise, characters must hoof it to where they wish to go.


• Lockets will not work. Characters would need traditional means to keep in touch, or need to fashion (or purchase) their own alternative means of magical communication. These alternative devices can be used on the network alongside lockets, and can be fashioned to interact with lockets.


• Border violence will be the norm. Small incursions and raids into enemy territory will be frequent. Unseelie in Seelie territory, and vice versa, will be hunted by patrols/town guards/etc. NPC guards may unexpectedly drop into threads where characters are in enemy territory.


• Boons all perform to their original specifications. None are depowered or vanished, though all would show the signs of age as appropriate for the passage of time.


• Influence and quests would continue to be given and rewarded as normal (one quest per player per ooc month), for our OOC sanity. PCs who are able to give quests are encouraged to have an expanded docket of them at the ready.

I wonder if Sansa would approve of Bethany opening a small clinic in the city. She wouldn't have the means, though, so she would need some support to do so. Having a permanent resident healer around could only be a good thing!

Awesome! Bethany will help with restoration efforts and settle in during the timeskip/upcoming months. Bethany could petition for a place for a clinic to Sansa or we could handwave the conversation. I'm not really sure what the timeline would be though for when something like that would be considered up and running. Do you? I was thinking just a small clinic with a place for Bethany to live on a 2nd floor. Thoughts?

sorry for the delay! i was moving house and only got internet up here today.

i'm not CERTAIN about the timeline -- you might wanna discuss with the mods. but i think we could definitely have the petition conversation. soon sansa is going to start asking allies and shardbearers in the city to take minor oaths of...respect and loyalty to the city itself, in return for free and safe passage through its gates. perhaps that would be a good time for it?
