Timeskip CR Meme

While similar to the CR meme in some ways, the fields within the text area below are meant to facilitate planning and plotting so that by the time the CR meme rolls around everyone has a much clearer idea of what all has been happening and in what direction they are heading, especially as the timeskip looms large on the horizon.

Should you need it, you can always refer to the re-posted Timeskip Calendar for ideas! Characters have already been starting up businesses (coffee shops, playhouses, a P.I. office, even a business selling non-locket network devices!) so be sure to check it out!

If you intend to opt out of the timeskip, please PM the mod account with the dates/nature of your opt out!

As a note, please remember the following:

• There will be no new shardbearers, no monthly events (and perforce no boons). Monarch contact will be limited to include shardbearers highly ranked within their court.


• Fairy rings will be inoperable. Powers, abilities, and boons may be used to allow for fast-travel. Otherwise, characters must hoof it to where they wish to go.


• Lockets will not work. Characters would need traditional means to keep in touch, or need to fashion (or purchase) their own alternative means of magical communication. These alternative devices can be used on the network alongside lockets, and can be fashioned to interact with lockets.


• Border violence will be the norm. Small incursions and raids into enemy territory will be frequent. Unseelie in Seelie territory, and vice versa, will be hunted by patrols/town guards/etc. NPC guards may unexpectedly drop into threads where characters are in enemy territory.


• Boons all perform to their original specifications. None are depowered or vanished, though all would show the signs of age as appropriate for the passage of time.


• Influence and quests would continue to be given and rewarded as normal (one quest per player per ooc month), for our OOC sanity. PCs who are able to give quests are encouraged to have an expanded docket of them at the ready.

so, kelly was telling me that luke should so be in on the midnight court stuff, and i was wondering if there was a way in with that? luke's going to be going to redgate sometime during the timeskip, probably with hermione granger as we've planned, and i was wondering how one actually gets into it? i'm not sure if his reputation will precede him with that, but i'd love to get him involved!

i keep forgetting zuko sort of met tzilan (the thread got lost in my inbox, but it was between he, bolin, and zuko), and it'd be great to follow up with that at all! i'm not sure what zuko could offer him since i'm keeping him away from the midnight court and the mage stuff (since i'm going for those two respectively with luke and katherine), but he was involved with reynard, so i'm not sure if there's anything lingering there he might want to pursue? i keep meaning to follow up with this, but keep forgetting.

One is generally first taken there by someone with a standing invitation! The mark of the white serpent. Would he be gaining any CR with Saralegui?

Tzilan's focus on the timeskip will be almost ENTIRELY devoted to mage stuff, the midnight court, and.. his own research! He's also Seelie, and with the cross-court ramifications heating up, he'd be reluctant to expand his Unseelie CR unless there was a solid reason. Any ideas?

yes! i'm planning to steal kelly, so i'm definitely gunning for sara cr as we've been joking about it over plurk. (and he also has two snakes, so i'm not sure if he'd be interested in george and martha at all?)

hm. i'm not 100% clear on what mages can do, but zuko's teaching firebending (along with swordfighting) in his little village, he can offer to give lessons at his university? if not, he can also offer a safe place for his vampires before he's deposed (or if any are still loyal to him after) -- and even to him.
