Timeskip CR Meme

While similar to the CR meme in some ways, the fields within the text area below are meant to facilitate planning and plotting so that by the time the CR meme rolls around everyone has a much clearer idea of what all has been happening and in what direction they are heading, especially as the timeskip looms large on the horizon.

Should you need it, you can always refer to the re-posted Timeskip Calendar for ideas! Characters have already been starting up businesses (coffee shops, playhouses, a P.I. office, even a business selling non-locket network devices!) so be sure to check it out!

If you intend to opt out of the timeskip, please PM the mod account with the dates/nature of your opt out!

As a note, please remember the following:

• There will be no new shardbearers, no monthly events (and perforce no boons). Monarch contact will be limited to include shardbearers highly ranked within their court.


• Fairy rings will be inoperable. Powers, abilities, and boons may be used to allow for fast-travel. Otherwise, characters must hoof it to where they wish to go.


• Lockets will not work. Characters would need traditional means to keep in touch, or need to fashion (or purchase) their own alternative means of magical communication. These alternative devices can be used on the network alongside lockets, and can be fashioned to interact with lockets.


• Border violence will be the norm. Small incursions and raids into enemy territory will be frequent. Unseelie in Seelie territory, and vice versa, will be hunted by patrols/town guards/etc. NPC guards may unexpectedly drop into threads where characters are in enemy territory.


• Boons all perform to their original specifications. None are depowered or vanished, though all would show the signs of age as appropriate for the passage of time.


• Influence and quests would continue to be given and rewarded as normal (one quest per player per ooc month), for our OOC sanity. PCs who are able to give quests are encouraged to have an expanded docket of them at the ready.

Oh, and just tell me when you want to do the stuff to set up the quest in Parrais! I was thinking of having Dorian pick it up in April, but I'd like to get things hammered down before then so that I can get the quest log posted before the thirty days pass, haha!

Sure! April the lockets wont have died yet so you could fwd date inboxing him or something if you like c: It'll probably be a pretty easy / short thread, just long enough for him to make sure Dorian sounds reasonably politically savvy and to throw some useful contacts at him

Sure thing! Something along the lines of 'so i heard you want some pr shit in parrais, I'm hanging in parrais, i'll do it' and he'll try not to demonstrate utter dweebiness and loserdom. And the contacts will be great! Anne's player said she'd love to help Dorian out with it, especially in terms of getting government contacts to get permission for it.
