Timeskip CR Meme

While similar to the CR meme in some ways, the fields within the text area below are meant to facilitate planning and plotting so that by the time the CR meme rolls around everyone has a much clearer idea of what all has been happening and in what direction they are heading, especially as the timeskip looms large on the horizon.

Should you need it, you can always refer to the re-posted Timeskip Calendar for ideas! Characters have already been starting up businesses (coffee shops, playhouses, a P.I. office, even a business selling non-locket network devices!) so be sure to check it out!

If you intend to opt out of the timeskip, please PM the mod account with the dates/nature of your opt out!

As a note, please remember the following:

• There will be no new shardbearers, no monthly events (and perforce no boons). Monarch contact will be limited to include shardbearers highly ranked within their court.


• Fairy rings will be inoperable. Powers, abilities, and boons may be used to allow for fast-travel. Otherwise, characters must hoof it to where they wish to go.


• Lockets will not work. Characters would need traditional means to keep in touch, or need to fashion (or purchase) their own alternative means of magical communication. These alternative devices can be used on the network alongside lockets, and can be fashioned to interact with lockets.


• Border violence will be the norm. Small incursions and raids into enemy territory will be frequent. Unseelie in Seelie territory, and vice versa, will be hunted by patrols/town guards/etc. NPC guards may unexpectedly drop into threads where characters are in enemy territory.


• Boons all perform to their original specifications. None are depowered or vanished, though all would show the signs of age as appropriate for the passage of time.


• Influence and quests would continue to be given and rewarded as normal (one quest per player per ooc month), for our OOC sanity. PCs who are able to give quests are encouraged to have an expanded docket of them at the ready.

HOLDING HER HAND GOSH, LANCE!! i'm not sure when would be best, but perhaps sometime early? hermione still needs to icly tell him about scima and the sigil if he goes to see the monarchs on her behalf like we mentioned on plurk? so she could maybe start asking about shard stuff and end up not able to think happy thoughts because guilt?

Sure! Lance'll be in the White Citadel for about a week or so post-jabberwock downing fussing over Faolan and the just hatched baby dragon but after that he'll be largely in Caer Glaem in spring, and he'd want to check up on her anyway so it'd be pretty easy to make him go I SENSE A DISTURBANCE IN THE FORCE TELL ME WHAT TROUBLES YOU

THAT SOUNDS LOVELY! Hermione is spending most of March in Glaem so maybe we could do something for late March/early April before she goes to Redgate with Luke? I can set something up for around that time in her timeskip log if you'd like, as soon as you're not too busy with other stuff /o/

To get stuff balanced easier before the royal audience it might be best to be like

Last week of feb/first of march they have an initial discussion, which can trigger him off to go to royal audience, then he can come back and reassure her and they can do calmer actual shard training late in march?

If that makes sense!

So he can be all ITS OKAY I ASKED MOM AND DAD AND THEY EXPLAINED EVERYTHING and she can feel a bit better about it and concentrate more the second time

Since I dunno if there will be one (a royal audience) in april, and even if there is GOD LANCELOT ON HARP-PLAYING CURSE INTENSITY it'll be like nuclear emotions bomb all the time

THAT sounds perfect c: Hermione's told John and she knows that Lancelot is on her side and understands about her sigil panic so she would definitely go and talk to him and try and find some comfort from him, especially since Ridire makes her super nervous now and she isn't sure she can trust her girl's promise with Solais :(

Do you want Lance to seek her out in Caer Glaem or to have Hermione seek him out for cuddles? Either works -- he could have come looking for her to make sure she is okay after Caer Glaem was attacked or she could equally come make sure he is okay after being in all the fitin' on the front

i can have her seek him out! as soon as things have calmed down in glaem she'll go to find him to get some kind of reassurance about everything that's gone down and to check up on him re: his arm and stuff. i can write that up in her log post?
