Timeskip CR Meme

While similar to the CR meme in some ways, the fields within the text area below are meant to facilitate planning and plotting so that by the time the CR meme rolls around everyone has a much clearer idea of what all has been happening and in what direction they are heading, especially as the timeskip looms large on the horizon.

Should you need it, you can always refer to the re-posted Timeskip Calendar for ideas! Characters have already been starting up businesses (coffee shops, playhouses, a P.I. office, even a business selling non-locket network devices!) so be sure to check it out!

If you intend to opt out of the timeskip, please PM the mod account with the dates/nature of your opt out!

As a note, please remember the following:

• There will be no new shardbearers, no monthly events (and perforce no boons). Monarch contact will be limited to include shardbearers highly ranked within their court.


• Fairy rings will be inoperable. Powers, abilities, and boons may be used to allow for fast-travel. Otherwise, characters must hoof it to where they wish to go.


• Lockets will not work. Characters would need traditional means to keep in touch, or need to fashion (or purchase) their own alternative means of magical communication. These alternative devices can be used on the network alongside lockets, and can be fashioned to interact with lockets.


• Border violence will be the norm. Small incursions and raids into enemy territory will be frequent. Unseelie in Seelie territory, and vice versa, will be hunted by patrols/town guards/etc. NPC guards may unexpectedly drop into threads where characters are in enemy territory.


• Boons all perform to their original specifications. None are depowered or vanished, though all would show the signs of age as appropriate for the passage of time.


• Influence and quests would continue to be given and rewarded as normal (one quest per player per ooc month), for our OOC sanity. PCs who are able to give quests are encouraged to have an expanded docket of them at the ready.

also Saber should help Rin get a mount of some sort. I was tossing ideas at Lumina, but I'm not sure if any of them are going to work.

Gifts acquired in blood make them powerful due to blood magic CLEARLY.

Maybe it'll be three times as fast..!!

Saber's probably going to be learning blood magic from an Aellyn elf as a side effect of her pursuit of that bond thing we discussed.

And not from her girlfriend? Saber, you have betrayed her in the worst possible way.

No, I am kidding. It'd be good for her to learn magic.

Though Rin will complain about her inferior learnings and offer to expand on them.

It comes as a side effect of other stuff. Saber picks things up here and there. I just think this is the perfect setting for Saber to actually make use of that huge magic potential she has. It's just not something she decides to do one day, but comes along in opportunities. And her leaning will be toward Drabwurld magic, so even though Rin, Waver, Lemina, Harry could teach her magic, she'll never think to ask them all on her lonesome.

Scian gets Daddy to pick up Energy Elemental magic some day.

I kind of like it that way. Rin lowers her guard a lot around Saber so she would leave her magical shit laying around and she can always fool around/read stuff while she's asleep. So if you want her to pick up stuff like that, that's totally cool.

What a good Scian.

Considering how much more Rin sleeps than Saber (even when Saber WANTS to sleep the whole time Rin is) she still gets up in the early morning. She can easily pick up a book and read during that time. It makes sense. Maybe one of our cute threads can be Rin waking up to find Saber cuddled up next to her while reading. Saber's too respectful to fiddle with anything left out other than the books or a few things that look like normal non-magical stuff that she cleans up moves.

Rin can't help it that she's not neat at times, gosh. It's just because she's so hard at working..!

(Then Saber finds out how many notes about useless things Rin writes down)

Also it came up in another thing as a possibility, but I believe Dan and I are going to have some personality bleed with Lancelot and Rin. Since Saber knows them both very well, she might pick up on it. I'm not entirely sure how far I'll go with it, but I've dropped some hints at it regularly over the past couple weeks.

She probably would pick up on it, but poke me to remind me when it comes out. I tend to miss those things.

No worries, I'm not too sure how far it'll be a guiding thing. It's just funny to turn Lancelot into a tsundere and Rin into a knight who is fiercely in love.

Yeah, when you dropped the word love in the narrative of one of Rin's tags at the ruins I raised an eyebrow.

Yeah, just sometimes she'll love her as a king more than ... you know, Arturia. Because she can't help it, it's Lancelot ;A;
