Timeskip CR Meme

While similar to the CR meme in some ways, the fields within the text area below are meant to facilitate planning and plotting so that by the time the CR meme rolls around everyone has a much clearer idea of what all has been happening and in what direction they are heading, especially as the timeskip looms large on the horizon.

Should you need it, you can always refer to the re-posted Timeskip Calendar for ideas! Characters have already been starting up businesses (coffee shops, playhouses, a P.I. office, even a business selling non-locket network devices!) so be sure to check it out!

If you intend to opt out of the timeskip, please PM the mod account with the dates/nature of your opt out!

As a note, please remember the following:

• There will be no new shardbearers, no monthly events (and perforce no boons). Monarch contact will be limited to include shardbearers highly ranked within their court.


• Fairy rings will be inoperable. Powers, abilities, and boons may be used to allow for fast-travel. Otherwise, characters must hoof it to where they wish to go.


• Lockets will not work. Characters would need traditional means to keep in touch, or need to fashion (or purchase) their own alternative means of magical communication. These alternative devices can be used on the network alongside lockets, and can be fashioned to interact with lockets.


• Border violence will be the norm. Small incursions and raids into enemy territory will be frequent. Unseelie in Seelie territory, and vice versa, will be hunted by patrols/town guards/etc. NPC guards may unexpectedly drop into threads where characters are in enemy territory.


• Boons all perform to their original specifications. None are depowered or vanished, though all would show the signs of age as appropriate for the passage of time.


• Influence and quests would continue to be given and rewarded as normal (one quest per player per ooc month), for our OOC sanity. PCs who are able to give quests are encouraged to have an expanded docket of them at the ready.

Excellent. Rin won't know how to deal, but she will help all she can ;AAAAAA;

Rin will have adopted a native child, made him her official heir, and working with a number of orphanages and natives. Pretty much by that point giving her a gift is worth to attract positive attention... but guess that depends on how she feels about charities!

(Like I said, I can just force someone else to pay for it as a gift for her)

It isn't a major desire, just Rin has no attachment to a mount despite being in game since October so it'd be nice to change that by the end of timeskip, especially since she has Rider and Saber who love their own.

Well, Chocobos may be showing up as gifts for Alice's orphanage at various points. Little kids love little animals to play with, right?

Rin could see them and decide she likes them and then hatch some sort of clever plan to get one for free?

Call her when you need to mass transport a ton of birbs to the other side of the map or somewhere that requires crossing a sea (nottalking) Then we'll see!!

She'll be near Mair though right? Rin met and helped a bird there once, it might be a good opportunity to make her consider it. Question though, think they will be able to fly or are these land birds for good?

Yes, she's just outside of Mair.

And I'm not sure. Historically, gold chocobos can fly. They are also exceedingly rare, and breeding them to any real degree would involve acquiring two compatible parents.

Which I think is possible eventually. I just need to check with the mods once I have everything set up.

Rin would actually pay a lot $$$ for a flying one and would have no qualms about buying out other PC's as a result if there was an auction. OOC-wise I know that's a dick move so if it's not possible, is fine.
