Timeskip CR Meme

While similar to the CR meme in some ways, the fields within the text area below are meant to facilitate planning and plotting so that by the time the CR meme rolls around everyone has a much clearer idea of what all has been happening and in what direction they are heading, especially as the timeskip looms large on the horizon.

Should you need it, you can always refer to the re-posted Timeskip Calendar for ideas! Characters have already been starting up businesses (coffee shops, playhouses, a P.I. office, even a business selling non-locket network devices!) so be sure to check it out!

If you intend to opt out of the timeskip, please PM the mod account with the dates/nature of your opt out!

As a note, please remember the following:

• There will be no new shardbearers, no monthly events (and perforce no boons). Monarch contact will be limited to include shardbearers highly ranked within their court.


• Fairy rings will be inoperable. Powers, abilities, and boons may be used to allow for fast-travel. Otherwise, characters must hoof it to where they wish to go.


• Lockets will not work. Characters would need traditional means to keep in touch, or need to fashion (or purchase) their own alternative means of magical communication. These alternative devices can be used on the network alongside lockets, and can be fashioned to interact with lockets.


• Border violence will be the norm. Small incursions and raids into enemy territory will be frequent. Unseelie in Seelie territory, and vice versa, will be hunted by patrols/town guards/etc. NPC guards may unexpectedly drop into threads where characters are in enemy territory.


• Boons all perform to their original specifications. None are depowered or vanished, though all would show the signs of age as appropriate for the passage of time.


• Influence and quests would continue to be given and rewarded as normal (one quest per player per ooc month), for our OOC sanity. PCs who are able to give quests are encouraged to have an expanded docket of them at the ready.

Thrall's job is basically to babysit them, hear their concerns and keep them in balance. He makes offerings to the spirits and talks to them to make sure they're happy and won't kill people or each other, which is hard enough with a whole fucking war going on. It started with some work in Azure to calm them, which I'm not sure the outcome of that yet since the timing of that is THIS MONTH and this month is crazy.

There's also a lot of residual damage from the Jabberwhelp and he will definitely be communing with the spirits and trying to heal that sort of damage, as it's part of his duties as a shaman.

There is a winter spirit on Azeroth, so it'd be cute if he made an offering to Jack as well. Or he can just come and see what happened to the old Barrel-- that works too.

omg an offering to jack. he will be so confused and puzzled, it'll be the most amazing thing.

but that's amazing! jack's sort of gonna be on this crazy spirit journey all year? basically after the craziness of the war, he wants to sort of put together a "guardians 2.0" which is more of just getting the spirits and non-human entities together to form a general alliance in order to protect the native children from the constant battles.

he'll be traveling all over trying to find different groups of them so that's definitely something he'd be interested in talking to thrall about if he learns he's got a connection to them too. c:

AHHHH then thrall is exactly the bro that jack needs in his life. that has literally been jack's focus since the beginning of the year so he'll love to know that someone else has that same aim. then yeah, possibly he'll somehow hear word about the big green dude that's some happy friendly pal and make way to find him.

I'm sorry, Jack. I'm so sorry. He'll leave food out too, but um, it won't be very tasty because he's not a great cook (and orcs as a people tend to eat everything raw.....)

Whenabouts would you like stuff to happen? The trading post will be running late spring, and he'll be gone all of July, but other than that I'm pretty flexible.

UM i'm not sure though i'm pretty much very open. jack flies everywhere constantly and he'll take constant breaks in his spirit travels to come back and see folks regularly. in case we want them to meet again later, would sometime in june work?
