Timeskip CR Meme

While similar to the CR meme in some ways, the fields within the text area below are meant to facilitate planning and plotting so that by the time the CR meme rolls around everyone has a much clearer idea of what all has been happening and in what direction they are heading, especially as the timeskip looms large on the horizon.

Should you need it, you can always refer to the re-posted Timeskip Calendar for ideas! Characters have already been starting up businesses (coffee shops, playhouses, a P.I. office, even a business selling non-locket network devices!) so be sure to check it out!

If you intend to opt out of the timeskip, please PM the mod account with the dates/nature of your opt out!

As a note, please remember the following:

• There will be no new shardbearers, no monthly events (and perforce no boons). Monarch contact will be limited to include shardbearers highly ranked within their court.


• Fairy rings will be inoperable. Powers, abilities, and boons may be used to allow for fast-travel. Otherwise, characters must hoof it to where they wish to go.


• Lockets will not work. Characters would need traditional means to keep in touch, or need to fashion (or purchase) their own alternative means of magical communication. These alternative devices can be used on the network alongside lockets, and can be fashioned to interact with lockets.


• Border violence will be the norm. Small incursions and raids into enemy territory will be frequent. Unseelie in Seelie territory, and vice versa, will be hunted by patrols/town guards/etc. NPC guards may unexpectedly drop into threads where characters are in enemy territory.


• Boons all perform to their original specifications. None are depowered or vanished, though all would show the signs of age as appropriate for the passage of time.


• Influence and quests would continue to be given and rewarded as normal (one quest per player per ooc month), for our OOC sanity. PCs who are able to give quests are encouraged to have an expanded docket of them at the ready.

oh, cool! he'll definitely take her under his wing, then. if we need to find a way for them to meet, luke has cows who gossip a lot, and they can just easily let him know there's sort of a thief around town, sigh isn't it horrid she has no one capable to teach her? (they're manipulative cows as well). he can even interfere in one of her attempts to begin giving her pointers right off the bat.

UNDER HIS WING oh boy. I don't think anyone has had the patience to teach her. She's entirely self taught for... well, everything. But I would love to see how this plays out so yeah, let's do it! Are you gonna have any logs up at all that we could run this through with?

LMFAO, GOD. i doubt luke will seriously give up. he used to be a head counsellor at a camp filled with demigods (who have adhd), so he's used to kids really testing his patience. maybe she's finally met the right mentor for her? we will soon find out.

probably not, i think i'm just going to use my timeskip post for these types of interactions. if you toss up a log for sera, i don't mind tagging into it! (or even your own timeskip post! it really doesn't bother me.)

I wasn't really planning for a log unless I got more interested in doing so. Do you mind if I add you to plurk? That may help for future planning and the like. But ultimately, timeskip posts work just as well for me.

yeah, i read we were meant to log the smaller, non game-changing stuff in our timeskip posts somewhere? i've just been going with that since it'll be easier to track and less flooding of the comms.

if they organise this before the tourney and if she goes, i hope you're ready for him to tell her "so, you can so steal that x" in plain sight. it'll be great training!

Iiiiii have no idea. But you are prooobably right on that so maybe timeskip pages are best.

She might BE at the tourney. Not sure about stealing cause if she goes it'll be with her Inquisition pals. (Gotta be all proper and represent or something) But if given good reason or good competition she can be persuaded :3
