Timeskip CR Meme

While similar to the CR meme in some ways, the fields within the text area below are meant to facilitate planning and plotting so that by the time the CR meme rolls around everyone has a much clearer idea of what all has been happening and in what direction they are heading, especially as the timeskip looms large on the horizon.

Should you need it, you can always refer to the re-posted Timeskip Calendar for ideas! Characters have already been starting up businesses (coffee shops, playhouses, a P.I. office, even a business selling non-locket network devices!) so be sure to check it out!

If you intend to opt out of the timeskip, please PM the mod account with the dates/nature of your opt out!

As a note, please remember the following:

• There will be no new shardbearers, no monthly events (and perforce no boons). Monarch contact will be limited to include shardbearers highly ranked within their court.


• Fairy rings will be inoperable. Powers, abilities, and boons may be used to allow for fast-travel. Otherwise, characters must hoof it to where they wish to go.


• Lockets will not work. Characters would need traditional means to keep in touch, or need to fashion (or purchase) their own alternative means of magical communication. These alternative devices can be used on the network alongside lockets, and can be fashioned to interact with lockets.


• Border violence will be the norm. Small incursions and raids into enemy territory will be frequent. Unseelie in Seelie territory, and vice versa, will be hunted by patrols/town guards/etc. NPC guards may unexpectedly drop into threads where characters are in enemy territory.


• Boons all perform to their original specifications. None are depowered or vanished, though all would show the signs of age as appropriate for the passage of time.


• Influence and quests would continue to be given and rewarded as normal (one quest per player per ooc month), for our OOC sanity. PCs who are able to give quests are encouraged to have an expanded docket of them at the ready.

There will always be a spot for him at The Barrel if he's in southern Aghmhor and he does have an emergency contact with Rin, which she'd be willing to make more if he needs for other friends.

Rin would be interested to hear about his research with non-human entities and spirits though I'm not exactly sure how to approach it. She has voiced her interest with him being a spirit before because she's rude, but??

don't kill him, but he and waver have already made plans to spend the entirety of the year prank calling rin. whoops. c:

NO BUT REALLY jack is actually going to be working very closely with waver so he'll be spending a good amount of time at the barrel. a lot of the stuff he'll be learning on his quest with the spirits, he'll be filling waver in on, so that's definitely a way for rin to somehow get involved in it.

either way, since he'll be popping in there a lot, that's still a good chance for them to build up a closer relationship that isn't just pranks and jokes. ALSO HEARD YOU'RE ADOPTING A KID. jack's a great babysitter.

BUT UH they aren't technically working on something specifically. not ... yet. jack and waver bond a lot about being very on the neutral side of the war so it's something jack trusts waver with. so as he learns things on his travels, waver's the man to share that info with. /o/

To be honest that's pretty much how her timeskip is going just add in MAGIC in there somewhere. Needs more parks and rec references, kind of limited by them here.
