Timeskip CR Meme

While similar to the CR meme in some ways, the fields within the text area below are meant to facilitate planning and plotting so that by the time the CR meme rolls around everyone has a much clearer idea of what all has been happening and in what direction they are heading, especially as the timeskip looms large on the horizon.

Should you need it, you can always refer to the re-posted Timeskip Calendar for ideas! Characters have already been starting up businesses (coffee shops, playhouses, a P.I. office, even a business selling non-locket network devices!) so be sure to check it out!

If you intend to opt out of the timeskip, please PM the mod account with the dates/nature of your opt out!

As a note, please remember the following:

• There will be no new shardbearers, no monthly events (and perforce no boons). Monarch contact will be limited to include shardbearers highly ranked within their court.


• Fairy rings will be inoperable. Powers, abilities, and boons may be used to allow for fast-travel. Otherwise, characters must hoof it to where they wish to go.


• Lockets will not work. Characters would need traditional means to keep in touch, or need to fashion (or purchase) their own alternative means of magical communication. These alternative devices can be used on the network alongside lockets, and can be fashioned to interact with lockets.


• Border violence will be the norm. Small incursions and raids into enemy territory will be frequent. Unseelie in Seelie territory, and vice versa, will be hunted by patrols/town guards/etc. NPC guards may unexpectedly drop into threads where characters are in enemy territory.


• Boons all perform to their original specifications. None are depowered or vanished, though all would show the signs of age as appropriate for the passage of time.


• Influence and quests would continue to be given and rewarded as normal (one quest per player per ooc month), for our OOC sanity. PCs who are able to give quests are encouraged to have an expanded docket of them at the ready.

I'll definitely let you know what goes on, there's a handful of things that could be changing around either way but even if communication things don't work I'll figure out a way to kick his butt to the Barrel to actually go see her and bug her (have they ever even met in person I swear I don't remember.) Also there is the fact that his best friend has a giant crush on Saber. So there's that.

Awesome! I sort of figured or I read it somewhere or SOMETHING I'm not even sure but somehow I kind of knew that. I know Sin was saying that if Hiro behaves basically Saber might make him head of the R&D but he'll definitely need some help because idiot 14 year old, great power great responsibility blahblahblah. Also yeah he's going to go visit Thrall and they're gonna go on a journey in July but he'll probably visit at random points so he'll see her there. I have to think of what precisely he'd use i.e. I have to review modern technology and how it could fit into the game but I think he'd want his own network because of how dodgy he is sometimes. I personally was also thinking that if they ever get that far they could work together to mass produce something, definitely. Make money, keep shit locked up, etc etc.

Yup! He's acting as Lemina's Junior Premier and actually once Kisha and I thread out some stuff with them he's going to be making an Unseelie-locked post presenting the Guild to the Unseelie at large. (I'm not sure how he got so involved in everything already...) But absolutely, namely for the factor of "Rin why do you have a heir already..."

Yeah definitely. I know Rin's publicly advertising her skills with making communication devices so at least she's fairly easy to get in contact with in regards to that. I don't think they have met in person before actually, she was kind of anti social during Samhain and yes, Kelsi's fangirling is a thing so there's that. I'm sure there will be plenty of not!slumber parties there.

Nods that works, it's just he's a lot more creative so he could make something flip phone that's not even a phone they could enchant and Rin would be like is this a compact mirror or something I don't get it. That conversation would be too much fun actually.

Rin does like her $$$ so she is all for that.

But since Rin will probably be visiting Thrall as well, she can definitely give him a ride to help cut down on the travel time so if you want quick passage from Spire 10 to there, she's there for him.

She has a heir because the girlfriend gave her some enemy magus insides to transplant, that's why. Don't question why a twenty year old girl needs a child, Hiro. It's too complex for u to understand. Sounds like a good plan though.

I need to go back and read some of Rin's old posts and see if that's something Ryan would have actually paid attention to because Ryan's...Ryan's Ryan. Everything will be great we'll make things work, he's too nosy about Rin anyway to not try to bother her over the course of a year.

Exactly, exactly! I knooow he's booning his armor sometime soon and that armor allowed him to communicate with his team at home so most likely he'll get an idea from that anyway. Hiro explaining modern tech and everything and his inventions to Rin though. I need it.

Maybe he'll invite her to help him with his betting pool during the tourney then. Make even more money.

That'd be really useful actually since I don't think he's going to get anything to help him fast-travel and horses are for chumps.

Even if she hasn't, can just assume she told him. She's been rather public about what she can do now so it could have easily come up in a casual conversation.
