Timeskip CR Meme

While similar to the CR meme in some ways, the fields within the text area below are meant to facilitate planning and plotting so that by the time the CR meme rolls around everyone has a much clearer idea of what all has been happening and in what direction they are heading, especially as the timeskip looms large on the horizon.

Should you need it, you can always refer to the re-posted Timeskip Calendar for ideas! Characters have already been starting up businesses (coffee shops, playhouses, a P.I. office, even a business selling non-locket network devices!) so be sure to check it out!

If you intend to opt out of the timeskip, please PM the mod account with the dates/nature of your opt out!

As a note, please remember the following:

• There will be no new shardbearers, no monthly events (and perforce no boons). Monarch contact will be limited to include shardbearers highly ranked within their court.


• Fairy rings will be inoperable. Powers, abilities, and boons may be used to allow for fast-travel. Otherwise, characters must hoof it to where they wish to go.


• Lockets will not work. Characters would need traditional means to keep in touch, or need to fashion (or purchase) their own alternative means of magical communication. These alternative devices can be used on the network alongside lockets, and can be fashioned to interact with lockets.


• Border violence will be the norm. Small incursions and raids into enemy territory will be frequent. Unseelie in Seelie territory, and vice versa, will be hunted by patrols/town guards/etc. NPC guards may unexpectedly drop into threads where characters are in enemy territory.


• Boons all perform to their original specifications. None are depowered or vanished, though all would show the signs of age as appropriate for the passage of time.


• Influence and quests would continue to be given and rewarded as normal (one quest per player per ooc month), for our OOC sanity. PCs who are able to give quests are encouraged to have an expanded docket of them at the ready.

I've been slow with our thread (everything's been dragged out in favor of gathering information/resources for timeskip stuff), but ICly Rin insisted that Harry Potter should visit to ward up her Spire before the battle. If that didn't happen due to reasons, Rin would love to come by and fortify what she can. She has a lot of interest in the area due to sentimental value (it was her HOME for a while) and she has an avid interest in making sure the lives of the nearby natives are taken care of.

With the trading post nearby via Thrall, it's possible she could help train Ellie a bit in terms of Drabwurld magic from what she's picked up and give her an item to use to help her use it better until she gains more fluent control. This wouldn't be able to happen ICly until further in the year though since Rin is quite busy at first so if you get someone else, that's perfectly fine. We can at least have the first couple lessons early on if you prefer?

Also will her birthday be made known publicly? Because she deserves a gift.

Wow I missed this I feel like a total jerk. Anyways, no worries about the thread. As you said the battle/timeskip kind of took everything over.

Anyway, training magic would be awesome! As well as making sure the natives are okay because Ellie would want to help them but not be entirely sure how to do it properly. So I think that could be a great avenue.

Other than that, she might tell a few people her birthday but not too many. It;s never really been a big deal back home because of reasons.
