Timeskip CR Meme

While similar to the CR meme in some ways, the fields within the text area below are meant to facilitate planning and plotting so that by the time the CR meme rolls around everyone has a much clearer idea of what all has been happening and in what direction they are heading, especially as the timeskip looms large on the horizon.

Should you need it, you can always refer to the re-posted Timeskip Calendar for ideas! Characters have already been starting up businesses (coffee shops, playhouses, a P.I. office, even a business selling non-locket network devices!) so be sure to check it out!

If you intend to opt out of the timeskip, please PM the mod account with the dates/nature of your opt out!

As a note, please remember the following:

• There will be no new shardbearers, no monthly events (and perforce no boons). Monarch contact will be limited to include shardbearers highly ranked within their court.


• Fairy rings will be inoperable. Powers, abilities, and boons may be used to allow for fast-travel. Otherwise, characters must hoof it to where they wish to go.


• Lockets will not work. Characters would need traditional means to keep in touch, or need to fashion (or purchase) their own alternative means of magical communication. These alternative devices can be used on the network alongside lockets, and can be fashioned to interact with lockets.


• Border violence will be the norm. Small incursions and raids into enemy territory will be frequent. Unseelie in Seelie territory, and vice versa, will be hunted by patrols/town guards/etc. NPC guards may unexpectedly drop into threads where characters are in enemy territory.


• Boons all perform to their original specifications. None are depowered or vanished, though all would show the signs of age as appropriate for the passage of time.


• Influence and quests would continue to be given and rewarded as normal (one quest per player per ooc month), for our OOC sanity. PCs who are able to give quests are encouraged to have an expanded docket of them at the ready.

her being a witch was introduced in the last season of her appearing and was hardly explored, so i figure, considering they've hit it off and i feel like they're just moving even more into being completely friendly with one another, i'd shove that on the table since it'll let me figure out wtf this show is doing in regards to katherine's past. and waver seems like the type of guy to learn stuff from? these guys just give me a supportive vibe wrt their relationship so i seriously want to see how far we can take it!

SHE'S OLD AS BALLS. she was born in 1473! so, there's like a 99.9999% chance she knows what he's referencing and lived through it. (and then that means you're going to make me google history, which i love doing, anyway). i just imagine she's been all around the world since she's been running from this big bad since 1492. SO, LETS HAVE SOME CULTURAL CHATS.

omg, excellent! i wanted him to open his own tea shop, but right now he just seems to be moving more in a political direction, so i'd rather, if possible, he can sort of fall back into his tea shop assistant role he had with his uncle. and i hope you know this means he'll be talking about his uncle so much to waver. HE LOVES TEA, YOU'D LIKE HIM. i'm actually hoping to have him explore quendi a bit more since he hasn't gone into the dead city, so he'll gladly give waver info on that!

oh wow thanks for doing that show that's super useful. But yes, I love that they've clicked so well and this needs to go aaaall the way to friendship, and one that might not actually involve politics for once. Waver's got...about three of those friendships in game so! (Also I kind of kill for these kinds of deep friendships so this is everything I ever wanted.)

OH YEAH then she'd definitely have been around for that period in Europe. (I can definitely help you with stuff in terms of the google.) Waver's done a lot of canon-handwaved traveling so YES DO LET'S. One day she'll probably work her way to "so I magically summoned Alexander the Great?"
