Timeskip CR Meme

While similar to the CR meme in some ways, the fields within the text area below are meant to facilitate planning and plotting so that by the time the CR meme rolls around everyone has a much clearer idea of what all has been happening and in what direction they are heading, especially as the timeskip looms large on the horizon.

Should you need it, you can always refer to the re-posted Timeskip Calendar for ideas! Characters have already been starting up businesses (coffee shops, playhouses, a P.I. office, even a business selling non-locket network devices!) so be sure to check it out!

If you intend to opt out of the timeskip, please PM the mod account with the dates/nature of your opt out!

As a note, please remember the following:

• There will be no new shardbearers, no monthly events (and perforce no boons). Monarch contact will be limited to include shardbearers highly ranked within their court.


• Fairy rings will be inoperable. Powers, abilities, and boons may be used to allow for fast-travel. Otherwise, characters must hoof it to where they wish to go.


• Lockets will not work. Characters would need traditional means to keep in touch, or need to fashion (or purchase) their own alternative means of magical communication. These alternative devices can be used on the network alongside lockets, and can be fashioned to interact with lockets.


• Border violence will be the norm. Small incursions and raids into enemy territory will be frequent. Unseelie in Seelie territory, and vice versa, will be hunted by patrols/town guards/etc. NPC guards may unexpectedly drop into threads where characters are in enemy territory.


• Boons all perform to their original specifications. None are depowered or vanished, though all would show the signs of age as appropriate for the passage of time.


• Influence and quests would continue to be given and rewarded as normal (one quest per player per ooc month), for our OOC sanity. PCs who are able to give quests are encouraged to have an expanded docket of them at the ready.

Beyond procedure stuff, is there anything you're interested in? She can probably teach him wards/boundary fields at least the basics, none of that fancy smancy Tohsaka magic.

What even is Rin no one knows

If she could teach him some magecraft/magic that would be great, yes! Any kind of healing or protection stuff is definitely what he's going for (Hyde wants offensive but screw him). Also alchemy, he already knows a little since his mad science is nearing alchemy to begin with, but. Otherwise...I should look at your info too that would help. Also with Rin's trade business he could possibly ask her about spreading some of his medical resources and the medicines he produces...

Admittedly I'm not sure how Type-Moon magic works with him. He should be capable of it being a spirit, but #Nasubabble

It just might end up being more Drabwurld magic than anything, but we can sort that out especially if he's around The Barrel often.

While Rin won't be telling the captains of the airships what to do, she can make recommendations definitely. Is there a specific area he would be able to work with? So far it's looking for the first phase of trade stuff it'd be Brucolac's spire, Redgate, Mair (or some area nearby) or the town the Barrel is in. If he plans to open an apothecary near any of those areas, it'd be easier to coordinate otherwise can just halfass an apothecary in The Barrel on Rin's floor if you like.

He was also capable of it in life, so I would imagine that means all the more so now! The experiment that lead to Hyde was technically alchemy and he just didn't really explore the possibilities otherwise. But yeah Drabwurld magic definitely works too, either way, or both, whatever.

Brucolac's spire for sure and possibly Mair - it's going to be near one of the two but he'll probably be at the spire a fair bit either way. Also the Barrel especially if Rin's going to teach him magic and all that, but also he'll definitely insist on coming back for checkups on the kid.

I discovered from others that they are working to build medical clinics at each spire and that there's a group who could deliver supplies via airship for him. So that might be something of interest to you? Clarke Griffin is the one I heard about the clinics from in case you wanted to hit them up.

Excellent. Scian will probably end up liking him a lot just for checking up on him. Yay family doctor :')

Magic and magecraft is completely doable.
