Timeskip CR Meme

While similar to the CR meme in some ways, the fields within the text area below are meant to facilitate planning and plotting so that by the time the CR meme rolls around everyone has a much clearer idea of what all has been happening and in what direction they are heading, especially as the timeskip looms large on the horizon.

Should you need it, you can always refer to the re-posted Timeskip Calendar for ideas! Characters have already been starting up businesses (coffee shops, playhouses, a P.I. office, even a business selling non-locket network devices!) so be sure to check it out!

If you intend to opt out of the timeskip, please PM the mod account with the dates/nature of your opt out!

As a note, please remember the following:

• There will be no new shardbearers, no monthly events (and perforce no boons). Monarch contact will be limited to include shardbearers highly ranked within their court.


• Fairy rings will be inoperable. Powers, abilities, and boons may be used to allow for fast-travel. Otherwise, characters must hoof it to where they wish to go.


• Lockets will not work. Characters would need traditional means to keep in touch, or need to fashion (or purchase) their own alternative means of magical communication. These alternative devices can be used on the network alongside lockets, and can be fashioned to interact with lockets.


• Border violence will be the norm. Small incursions and raids into enemy territory will be frequent. Unseelie in Seelie territory, and vice versa, will be hunted by patrols/town guards/etc. NPC guards may unexpectedly drop into threads where characters are in enemy territory.


• Boons all perform to their original specifications. None are depowered or vanished, though all would show the signs of age as appropriate for the passage of time.


• Influence and quests would continue to be given and rewarded as normal (one quest per player per ooc month), for our OOC sanity. PCs who are able to give quests are encouraged to have an expanded docket of them at the ready.

I know Rachel is planning on having Hermione start selling her locket devices and Sam will be snagging one of those, so that's one option! There are a few others doing it too, and I've been not-at-all joking about Sam having a ridiculous collection of various devices to use, so if Wan ends up going to someone other than Hermione, lmk and I'll have Sam look into that one too!

Wan's Timeskip Timeline is now mostly up-to-date with where I plan to have him be during the year and what he'll be getting into. Feel free to let me know when you want them to meet up for travel fun. because of how wan is traveling through the spring/into summer, he could swing by the station a second time to pick up sam for the trip north into the troll lands like we were talking about before!

Oh man, that map is awesome and I should probably do something similar. Lmao. Okay, unless I can manage to get Sam something to conceal his shard, he prooobably can't go too far north unless we want them to get caught at some point - which I am considering! But maybe not for first travels together. Lmao.

But I'm planning on having him spend a lot of time in the same areas as Wan for winter in Dec/Jan/Feb, including Treun and the Barrel, so maybe they could meet up around then? Harley and I were discussing Maleficent helping Sam with his flight too, so they could even chill there if we wanted. Many possibilities!

Ha! Wan's going to be on the run most of the time he's in the the south, XD. But that sounds good, too. Maleficent's mun said Wan could take refuge from the Seelie patrols in the Hidden Falls, which is why he's stopping there for a few days and then heading closer to neutral ground (and The Barrel) right after).

it works fine for me. If it's okay with you, we can still have him and sam meet at the station end of March/early April just to get some time in together, get themselves working out addresses to mail to when lockets stop working (i.e. just exchanging info on where they're staying in general) before parting ways and then meeting up again in the winter? as you can see I want a lot of sam time
