Timeskip CR Meme

While similar to the CR meme in some ways, the fields within the text area below are meant to facilitate planning and plotting so that by the time the CR meme rolls around everyone has a much clearer idea of what all has been happening and in what direction they are heading, especially as the timeskip looms large on the horizon.

Should you need it, you can always refer to the re-posted Timeskip Calendar for ideas! Characters have already been starting up businesses (coffee shops, playhouses, a P.I. office, even a business selling non-locket network devices!) so be sure to check it out!

If you intend to opt out of the timeskip, please PM the mod account with the dates/nature of your opt out!

As a note, please remember the following:

• There will be no new shardbearers, no monthly events (and perforce no boons). Monarch contact will be limited to include shardbearers highly ranked within their court.


• Fairy rings will be inoperable. Powers, abilities, and boons may be used to allow for fast-travel. Otherwise, characters must hoof it to where they wish to go.


• Lockets will not work. Characters would need traditional means to keep in touch, or need to fashion (or purchase) their own alternative means of magical communication. These alternative devices can be used on the network alongside lockets, and can be fashioned to interact with lockets.


• Border violence will be the norm. Small incursions and raids into enemy territory will be frequent. Unseelie in Seelie territory, and vice versa, will be hunted by patrols/town guards/etc. NPC guards may unexpectedly drop into threads where characters are in enemy territory.


• Boons all perform to their original specifications. None are depowered or vanished, though all would show the signs of age as appropriate for the passage of time.


• Influence and quests would continue to be given and rewarded as normal (one quest per player per ooc month), for our OOC sanity. PCs who are able to give quests are encouraged to have an expanded docket of them at the ready.

Definitely down for learning from Jason! I think they'll be receiving a bit of instruction from Katsa along the way as well, so they'll be able to merge fighting styles which I think would be pretty awesome.

Clarke's also going to be heading to neutral parties + both Seelie and Unseelie ones. I have (tentative) plans with Waver, and then she'll find alternative means for Unseelie bias information. So they'll have plenty of info to exchange.

And that's totally fine! Clarke's info definitely won't be totally impartial, though she'll probably take standard info down and leave little notes in the margin if she writes it out, haha. But unreliable narration is totally fine with me, should make things a bit more interesting! *^*

Part of Jason's training is via specially picked assassins from the League of Assassins, so that should be interesting! They will likely have to do some kind of weight training, too, so that they can use a sword most effectively.

And cool! Jason will also be looking specifically into Troublesome Seelie in the year that has passed (this just got approved by the mods), so there should be heaps of information thanks to these people's exploits (none of them are PCs! just important figures in the court).

Re: the narrating, I'm glad that won't be a problem! Jason will skew information with someone to see how they react, but 90% of it is just how he tends to process information in an incredibly biased way.

Sounds perfect to me! And yeah, I'm like sooooort of a little familiar with Jason as a character? By which I mean I saw "Under the Red Hood" and had friends who were huge Robin fans give me a run down on him as a character, SO. yes. slightly canon familiar. uwu

Ah, that's awesome! Clarke can probably pass on a bit of info on some high-ranking Unseelie people since she's going to be venturing out to all the Spires during timeskip, so they can get together on that stuff, also.

Under the Red Hood is a good run down on him, actually! Except Jason is actually funny/bantery, which the movie cuts out on for dramatic effect.

Jason will be curious about her take on the high-ranking Unseelie, definitely. He'll be living at Ariadne's spire when he's not running around, so that should lead to some stuff.

Oh hey! Clarke lives in the outlying village; she was given a house there as a result of a quest, so they'll actually be pretty nearby when neither of them are abroad and traveling. C:
