Timeskip CR Meme

While similar to the CR meme in some ways, the fields within the text area below are meant to facilitate planning and plotting so that by the time the CR meme rolls around everyone has a much clearer idea of what all has been happening and in what direction they are heading, especially as the timeskip looms large on the horizon.

Should you need it, you can always refer to the re-posted Timeskip Calendar for ideas! Characters have already been starting up businesses (coffee shops, playhouses, a P.I. office, even a business selling non-locket network devices!) so be sure to check it out!

If you intend to opt out of the timeskip, please PM the mod account with the dates/nature of your opt out!

As a note, please remember the following:

• There will be no new shardbearers, no monthly events (and perforce no boons). Monarch contact will be limited to include shardbearers highly ranked within their court.


• Fairy rings will be inoperable. Powers, abilities, and boons may be used to allow for fast-travel. Otherwise, characters must hoof it to where they wish to go.


• Lockets will not work. Characters would need traditional means to keep in touch, or need to fashion (or purchase) their own alternative means of magical communication. These alternative devices can be used on the network alongside lockets, and can be fashioned to interact with lockets.


• Border violence will be the norm. Small incursions and raids into enemy territory will be frequent. Unseelie in Seelie territory, and vice versa, will be hunted by patrols/town guards/etc. NPC guards may unexpectedly drop into threads where characters are in enemy territory.


• Boons all perform to their original specifications. None are depowered or vanished, though all would show the signs of age as appropriate for the passage of time.


• Influence and quests would continue to be given and rewarded as normal (one quest per player per ooc month), for our OOC sanity. PCs who are able to give quests are encouraged to have an expanded docket of them at the ready.

Sure! That would allow Seelie to learn Magic Guild techniques as well right?

Absolutely! Tzilan wound ensure that all shardbearer professors/students were able to hide their shard signature; that way upon entering, no one would know whether people were natives, shardbearers, or what! And it would be a beautiful segue if a lot of University students could then seek out jobs with the Guild upon graduation: and if you wanted to pursue it, the University funds could even contribute to a formal Guild Hall.

omg this is all so good. Lemina would have to pinch herself to make sure this is really happening. Two questions! Would she be able to regularly bring Hiro with her? He's her Junior Premier so he's important to her and teaching wise he's like a tutor especially for explaining the concepts. And secondly where would the guild hall be located? Can she choose the place or would it be in Redgate? (Either is fine just checking!)
