Timeskip CR Meme

While similar to the CR meme in some ways, the fields within the text area below are meant to facilitate planning and plotting so that by the time the CR meme rolls around everyone has a much clearer idea of what all has been happening and in what direction they are heading, especially as the timeskip looms large on the horizon.

Should you need it, you can always refer to the re-posted Timeskip Calendar for ideas! Characters have already been starting up businesses (coffee shops, playhouses, a P.I. office, even a business selling non-locket network devices!) so be sure to check it out!

If you intend to opt out of the timeskip, please PM the mod account with the dates/nature of your opt out!

As a note, please remember the following:

• There will be no new shardbearers, no monthly events (and perforce no boons). Monarch contact will be limited to include shardbearers highly ranked within their court.


• Fairy rings will be inoperable. Powers, abilities, and boons may be used to allow for fast-travel. Otherwise, characters must hoof it to where they wish to go.


• Lockets will not work. Characters would need traditional means to keep in touch, or need to fashion (or purchase) their own alternative means of magical communication. These alternative devices can be used on the network alongside lockets, and can be fashioned to interact with lockets.


• Border violence will be the norm. Small incursions and raids into enemy territory will be frequent. Unseelie in Seelie territory, and vice versa, will be hunted by patrols/town guards/etc. NPC guards may unexpectedly drop into threads where characters are in enemy territory.


• Boons all perform to their original specifications. None are depowered or vanished, though all would show the signs of age as appropriate for the passage of time.


• Influence and quests would continue to be given and rewarded as normal (one quest per player per ooc month), for our OOC sanity. PCs who are able to give quests are encouraged to have an expanded docket of them at the ready.

singing to the baby dragon will happen whether faolan wants it to happen or not it will just slip out one day and then lancelot will know more about him than ANYONE HERE IN THE DRABWURLD COMBINED :') humming to the baby dragon as he composes something and having the baby croon along with him - he could even establish a ritual of singing him to sleep when he's around if we wanted him to HE DOES THAT IN CANON AND THE IDEA IS SUPER ADORABLE TO ME

HARP THINGS YES faolan is going to be so irritated about the harp playing, never mind the whole INTENSE part of things, he will probably be intensely angry and intensely uncomfortable and intensely sad and it will create all sorts of awkward and wonderful moments

Samhain reminiscing yes please maybe they'll finally get that dance HAHA no maybe he'll convince you to relax and enjoy yourself; maybe you can demonstrate to him exactly what you meant about not having a good handle on your drink the first time you spoke to each other :'D

ALSO YES POST QUEST DEBRIEF i had debated the idea of maybe having him send updates along the way but that might be dangerous and jeopardizing to the mission BETTER TO LEAVE LANCELOT IN SUSPENSE AS TO WHETHER HE'S OKAY OR NOT until he finally gets back.

Also he could send him short notes to his compass to let him know he's changing location or something? Since he'll have a compassy communicator from mione by then and so will lance. He doesn't have to tell him what he learnt yet, but Lance would be reassured just to have the 'still alive changing city now' type update.

Also Bridei would miss him :c

awww yes he should do that ;3; letting him know that he's still alive and checking in on him and bridei - anyone listening in on his side of the conversation wouldn't know who he's talking to/about and he wouldn't be risking his mission or anything doing so.
