Timeskip CR Meme

While similar to the CR meme in some ways, the fields within the text area below are meant to facilitate planning and plotting so that by the time the CR meme rolls around everyone has a much clearer idea of what all has been happening and in what direction they are heading, especially as the timeskip looms large on the horizon.

Should you need it, you can always refer to the re-posted Timeskip Calendar for ideas! Characters have already been starting up businesses (coffee shops, playhouses, a P.I. office, even a business selling non-locket network devices!) so be sure to check it out!

If you intend to opt out of the timeskip, please PM the mod account with the dates/nature of your opt out!

As a note, please remember the following:

• There will be no new shardbearers, no monthly events (and perforce no boons). Monarch contact will be limited to include shardbearers highly ranked within their court.


• Fairy rings will be inoperable. Powers, abilities, and boons may be used to allow for fast-travel. Otherwise, characters must hoof it to where they wish to go.


• Lockets will not work. Characters would need traditional means to keep in touch, or need to fashion (or purchase) their own alternative means of magical communication. These alternative devices can be used on the network alongside lockets, and can be fashioned to interact with lockets.


• Border violence will be the norm. Small incursions and raids into enemy territory will be frequent. Unseelie in Seelie territory, and vice versa, will be hunted by patrols/town guards/etc. NPC guards may unexpectedly drop into threads where characters are in enemy territory.


• Boons all perform to their original specifications. None are depowered or vanished, though all would show the signs of age as appropriate for the passage of time.


• Influence and quests would continue to be given and rewarded as normal (one quest per player per ooc month), for our OOC sanity. PCs who are able to give quests are encouraged to have an expanded docket of them at the ready.

Ryan can fast-travel to the WC since he's been there before and he'll be doing the festival things whenever he can so even if we don't have anything concrete we can just have them run into each other and mutually be like "???" And he'd be more likely to approach somebody he knows anyway so Kayneth's chances are p good to have a ridiculous teenage boy bothering him.

YEAH... Kayneth's going to be in the theoretical med wing of the WC for a while, but he'll probably at least try to be around so he isn't as ungodly bored. I might do a log for that or something...

That sounds good to me. Wherever he may end up I can probably make something work. Ryan, thankfully, is my character with more loose plans so it'll work somehow.

Yeah, I'm pretty open regardless! No real travel plans outside festivals means Kayneth's super open for anything and I can easily find an excuse to have him fuck off to wherever.

WELL we have a couple of options! I can have Ryan tag into his WC med-wing log and just say he happened to hear whispers from the fairies and he went to go check it out because he's a nosy fucker, or we can do something with them in April after he's out. I'm flexible, it's really what you think would work best. If you don't mind the former I can spin it to make IC sense and just hop into that so we can see what else we can come up with over timeskip?

I like the former best, actually! I think Kayneth's going to be particularly chatty because he just wants to talk to people instead of being alone with his thoughts...

Awesomeawesome! Let me check something with our Minako player because Ryan's also helping her with her quest in March and I want to make sure Ryan'll actually be around (i.e. if I send him out that way in February before or March after quest-time) But I think that's a good plan! Ryan's good for chatty and also he's going to feel bad because man...ow :(

Anyway I know the Minako player and I are hashing stuff out for Minako's quest tonight so you will be getting a tag from me if not tonight tomorrow!
