Timeskip CR Meme

While similar to the CR meme in some ways, the fields within the text area below are meant to facilitate planning and plotting so that by the time the CR meme rolls around everyone has a much clearer idea of what all has been happening and in what direction they are heading, especially as the timeskip looms large on the horizon.

Should you need it, you can always refer to the re-posted Timeskip Calendar for ideas! Characters have already been starting up businesses (coffee shops, playhouses, a P.I. office, even a business selling non-locket network devices!) so be sure to check it out!

If you intend to opt out of the timeskip, please PM the mod account with the dates/nature of your opt out!

As a note, please remember the following:

• There will be no new shardbearers, no monthly events (and perforce no boons). Monarch contact will be limited to include shardbearers highly ranked within their court.


• Fairy rings will be inoperable. Powers, abilities, and boons may be used to allow for fast-travel. Otherwise, characters must hoof it to where they wish to go.


• Lockets will not work. Characters would need traditional means to keep in touch, or need to fashion (or purchase) their own alternative means of magical communication. These alternative devices can be used on the network alongside lockets, and can be fashioned to interact with lockets.


• Border violence will be the norm. Small incursions and raids into enemy territory will be frequent. Unseelie in Seelie territory, and vice versa, will be hunted by patrols/town guards/etc. NPC guards may unexpectedly drop into threads where characters are in enemy territory.


• Boons all perform to their original specifications. None are depowered or vanished, though all would show the signs of age as appropriate for the passage of time.


• Influence and quests would continue to be given and rewarded as normal (one quest per player per ooc month), for our OOC sanity. PCs who are able to give quests are encouraged to have an expanded docket of them at the ready.

Javik travels a lot, so they could always tag-team some trips! Currently he finds her tolerable, but if she wants to antagonize him I'm totally game for that.

I would very much like this, too. I'm really enjoying Javik and Midna's dynamic together. Kind of like reluctant peas in a pod. And yes, of course she wants to antagonise him because she seems to do that to people she likes.

It'd be interesting to see how their relationship and thoughts of one another evolve as they spend more time together. Especially on how likely these private trips of theirs will be.

I'm definitely enjoying their thread as well! If my wii wasn't a pile of cords and dust in the basement I'd want to play Twilight Princess again ahaha

Any preferences for where they go? Javik will be in Dorchadas for the first part of the year, then heading south in June.

I don't have any particular preferences. Midna's interested in seeing anywhere and everywhere. Even if it lands them in danger. (Hypothetically, if they entered Seelie territory, I'm sure that would grant them some unforgettable memories.)

I have no problem with getting into trouble/danger in Seelie territory! Maybe if she goes to the Station at some point, they could meet up and head south, skirting a little too west and run into some Seelies.

She's actually currently by the Station, so yes, her visiting the Station in the future is completely plausible. I think it'd be fun to let them get into some potential Seelie trouble. Might test some trusting boundaries or something like that. I'd enjoy exploring that. Was there a particular time during the Timeskip that you had planned on Javik being in that area?

Probably in mid/late May? I want him at Treun for the tourney, so he'll be on the road to get there. Mair is an Unseelie city but the Citadel is super close on the map, so it should be easy to get into a skirmish!
