Timeskip CR Meme

While similar to the CR meme in some ways, the fields within the text area below are meant to facilitate planning and plotting so that by the time the CR meme rolls around everyone has a much clearer idea of what all has been happening and in what direction they are heading, especially as the timeskip looms large on the horizon.

Should you need it, you can always refer to the re-posted Timeskip Calendar for ideas! Characters have already been starting up businesses (coffee shops, playhouses, a P.I. office, even a business selling non-locket network devices!) so be sure to check it out!

If you intend to opt out of the timeskip, please PM the mod account with the dates/nature of your opt out!

As a note, please remember the following:

• There will be no new shardbearers, no monthly events (and perforce no boons). Monarch contact will be limited to include shardbearers highly ranked within their court.


• Fairy rings will be inoperable. Powers, abilities, and boons may be used to allow for fast-travel. Otherwise, characters must hoof it to where they wish to go.


• Lockets will not work. Characters would need traditional means to keep in touch, or need to fashion (or purchase) their own alternative means of magical communication. These alternative devices can be used on the network alongside lockets, and can be fashioned to interact with lockets.


• Border violence will be the norm. Small incursions and raids into enemy territory will be frequent. Unseelie in Seelie territory, and vice versa, will be hunted by patrols/town guards/etc. NPC guards may unexpectedly drop into threads where characters are in enemy territory.


• Boons all perform to their original specifications. None are depowered or vanished, though all would show the signs of age as appropriate for the passage of time.


• Influence and quests would continue to be given and rewarded as normal (one quest per player per ooc month), for our OOC sanity. PCs who are able to give quests are encouraged to have an expanded docket of them at the ready.

What notable events has my character been a part of?: The creation of the Black Spires, the evacuation of Caer Scima
What can other characters easily ICly learn about your character?: She plays her cards incredibly close to her chest. She reads the tarot, and has vision of the future. As a Victorian woman from England, she can occasionally be baffled/put off by people's attitudes. She harbors some very dark secrets.

• Vanessa will go silent in a month I have not yet chosen. She will be possessed. Some will think the Spire is haunted. Things will float, men will be attacked. It comes and goes within 2 weeks.

from what i can see, porthos doesn't seem to be heading to any place in particular so no conflicts of location! i would love to build up some cr post attack on caer scima and generally have him help with getting supplies and refugees to the spire.

He's definitely very magically savvy, but he's going to be re-learning a lot because most of his magical knowledge got jacked in the last battle. He... might be able to pull that off by the time the festivals roll around, though.

I would like them to hang out a bit more during the timeskip before he finds her during her first little 'issue'. That way at least he has at least charmed her a bit more ;)

Hi!! I'm kind of floating around to each Spire runner to let you know that Clarke was charged by Saber to implement medical stations at each of the Spires over timeskip. This can either be handwaved, or we can work out an alternative to thread part of it! I have a super basic outline of which Spires Clarke will be at over the course of timeskip here! Clarke will get the clinic started, and if you'd like to handwave her training NPC's who want to work in the clinic, I'm totally open to that.

If you'd like your characters Spire opted out of this just let me know!

Sure! Sounds perfect. We could thread Clarke's arrival? That way she can talk to Vanessa to gauge what her Spires needs will be like with regards to the clinic setup.
