Timeskip CR Meme

While similar to the CR meme in some ways, the fields within the text area below are meant to facilitate planning and plotting so that by the time the CR meme rolls around everyone has a much clearer idea of what all has been happening and in what direction they are heading, especially as the timeskip looms large on the horizon.

Should you need it, you can always refer to the re-posted Timeskip Calendar for ideas! Characters have already been starting up businesses (coffee shops, playhouses, a P.I. office, even a business selling non-locket network devices!) so be sure to check it out!

If you intend to opt out of the timeskip, please PM the mod account with the dates/nature of your opt out!

As a note, please remember the following:

• There will be no new shardbearers, no monthly events (and perforce no boons). Monarch contact will be limited to include shardbearers highly ranked within their court.


• Fairy rings will be inoperable. Powers, abilities, and boons may be used to allow for fast-travel. Otherwise, characters must hoof it to where they wish to go.


• Lockets will not work. Characters would need traditional means to keep in touch, or need to fashion (or purchase) their own alternative means of magical communication. These alternative devices can be used on the network alongside lockets, and can be fashioned to interact with lockets.


• Border violence will be the norm. Small incursions and raids into enemy territory will be frequent. Unseelie in Seelie territory, and vice versa, will be hunted by patrols/town guards/etc. NPC guards may unexpectedly drop into threads where characters are in enemy territory.


• Boons all perform to their original specifications. None are depowered or vanished, though all would show the signs of age as appropriate for the passage of time.


• Influence and quests would continue to be given and rewarded as normal (one quest per player per ooc month), for our OOC sanity. PCs who are able to give quests are encouraged to have an expanded docket of them at the ready.

Excellent, that works. I know she's a court appointed magus so a lot of people tend to get directed her way in order to hone their skills. Is there something specific you're looking for that she can provide or just general magic talking? Because I'm all for that too :)

Probably general magic talking, for now. Billy's still trying to find his feet (and so am I).

Cool, that works. She lives at The Barrel (which Waver's player recommended) and is usually available to talk magic/magecraft as she's the more open of the two, so she would be glad to fill him in, maybe spark his interest in some stuff.

As a general heads up, March is kind of full for her, but she would return to the Barrel mid-March. From then on, it should be a lot easier to notice her, but another opportunity would be in Treun during the magic dueling segment of the tournament.

I think Billy's going to show up at Treun to cheer other people on, so if there's no opportunity beforehand he'll probably notice her there? Otherwise, he's going to hit The Barrel for sure at some point.
