Timeskip CR Meme

While similar to the CR meme in some ways, the fields within the text area below are meant to facilitate planning and plotting so that by the time the CR meme rolls around everyone has a much clearer idea of what all has been happening and in what direction they are heading, especially as the timeskip looms large on the horizon.

Should you need it, you can always refer to the re-posted Timeskip Calendar for ideas! Characters have already been starting up businesses (coffee shops, playhouses, a P.I. office, even a business selling non-locket network devices!) so be sure to check it out!

If you intend to opt out of the timeskip, please PM the mod account with the dates/nature of your opt out!

As a note, please remember the following:

• There will be no new shardbearers, no monthly events (and perforce no boons). Monarch contact will be limited to include shardbearers highly ranked within their court.


• Fairy rings will be inoperable. Powers, abilities, and boons may be used to allow for fast-travel. Otherwise, characters must hoof it to where they wish to go.


• Lockets will not work. Characters would need traditional means to keep in touch, or need to fashion (or purchase) their own alternative means of magical communication. These alternative devices can be used on the network alongside lockets, and can be fashioned to interact with lockets.


• Border violence will be the norm. Small incursions and raids into enemy territory will be frequent. Unseelie in Seelie territory, and vice versa, will be hunted by patrols/town guards/etc. NPC guards may unexpectedly drop into threads where characters are in enemy territory.


• Boons all perform to their original specifications. None are depowered or vanished, though all would show the signs of age as appropriate for the passage of time.


• Influence and quests would continue to be given and rewarded as normal (one quest per player per ooc month), for our OOC sanity. PCs who are able to give quests are encouraged to have an expanded docket of them at the ready.

AW JASON ;~; She will probably not actually ask him to maim Faolan, but... she's totally okay with it if he decides to do it himself >> coughs. Also definitely up for help c: If he needs a place to stay, her spire/manor have room!

RUBS HANDS TOGETHER. Ariadne will tell him what she can, though she'll stress two things: the first being that the head of the Midnight Court is an old, very powerful vampire who can read minds and the second being that members of the Midnight Court have to assist each other. So. ... basically maybe don't try and murder him at the Midnight Court, Jason.

He will likely take her up on that offer! I think he'll be out and about running himself ragged a lot of times, but he'll come back and sleep for hours to almost a day from time to time when he's not trying to deal with his lofty goals he's set for himself to handle this world efficiently.

HMMM in that case he might have to set up an arrangement because let's be real, Jason's mind is an open book of feelings and emotions and he'd be kicked out right away. Helping people who might be bad? NO WAY. But he'd be willing to do favors/work things so that getting intel still benefits everyone in the court in some way, if necessary. (I DON'T KNOW HOW THAT WOULD WORK so I am throwing darts at a wall here.)

She watched Tzilan (head Midnight Court vamp) squish a man to death her first time there, it was horrifying :'D Ariadne could tell him when and where the court will be held, however, if he wants to try and intercept the guy on his way there maybe?

shh shh he'll be perfectly maimy soon.

That actually sounds ideal. The midnight court guy is the one I can see Jason most likely being able to combat and develop a plan for taking down in the year (the other one is this scary alien thing that he has to kill from the inside, and he won't be strong enough yet, and I'll see what the third is), so being able to intercept him sounds like a good idea.
