Timeskip CR Meme

While similar to the CR meme in some ways, the fields within the text area below are meant to facilitate planning and plotting so that by the time the CR meme rolls around everyone has a much clearer idea of what all has been happening and in what direction they are heading, especially as the timeskip looms large on the horizon.

Should you need it, you can always refer to the re-posted Timeskip Calendar for ideas! Characters have already been starting up businesses (coffee shops, playhouses, a P.I. office, even a business selling non-locket network devices!) so be sure to check it out!

If you intend to opt out of the timeskip, please PM the mod account with the dates/nature of your opt out!

As a note, please remember the following:

• There will be no new shardbearers, no monthly events (and perforce no boons). Monarch contact will be limited to include shardbearers highly ranked within their court.


• Fairy rings will be inoperable. Powers, abilities, and boons may be used to allow for fast-travel. Otherwise, characters must hoof it to where they wish to go.


• Lockets will not work. Characters would need traditional means to keep in touch, or need to fashion (or purchase) their own alternative means of magical communication. These alternative devices can be used on the network alongside lockets, and can be fashioned to interact with lockets.


• Border violence will be the norm. Small incursions and raids into enemy territory will be frequent. Unseelie in Seelie territory, and vice versa, will be hunted by patrols/town guards/etc. NPC guards may unexpectedly drop into threads where characters are in enemy territory.


• Boons all perform to their original specifications. None are depowered or vanished, though all would show the signs of age as appropriate for the passage of time.


• Influence and quests would continue to be given and rewarded as normal (one quest per player per ooc month), for our OOC sanity. PCs who are able to give quests are encouraged to have an expanded docket of them at the ready.

Tournament is good. That could be when they first see each other? Kaldur will probably be competing more on the DL as part of a pair, but he will be using to try and gauge some of the other fighters in the drabwurld for deets.

BUT November criminal hunt sounds perfect! Kaldur will probably try to be paying bail for those who were behind on their taxes and returning the rest so. They could definitely run into each other then.

Having them bump into each other again will give him time to process that the little kid that he knew as someone who died is back. And older. Neptune's Beard, why is the alternate universe of everyone he knows suddenly older than him.

Jason will also be gauging for deets, haha. I wonder how much Kaldur's fighting style compares to Aquaman's, though Jason's never met the dude, so I guess it doesn't matter.

And it's because people mysteriously age :( Do you think he'd mention the other people he knew?

Ironically, he's a lot more similar to Mera's fighting style, given that his primary training was from her. He might have a few moves he picked up from Grayson, though. Which could make Jason look twice?

YES BUT THEY ALL AGE OLDER AND HE'S FROM THE FUTURE. like what is that, it's not even fair. At least he's still older than this Jason, if by a much slimmer margin. You aren't supposed to be Grayson's age its weird.

I figure in November, once he confronts Jason for being... Jason... he might bring up batfam. Like jesus what happened to you we all mourned you.

Also he met older Batman!Grayson a long while back, so he's not entirely sure if he should share that because... what alternate universe is this Jason from, anyway?
