Timeskip CR Meme

While similar to the CR meme in some ways, the fields within the text area below are meant to facilitate planning and plotting so that by the time the CR meme rolls around everyone has a much clearer idea of what all has been happening and in what direction they are heading, especially as the timeskip looms large on the horizon.

Should you need it, you can always refer to the re-posted Timeskip Calendar for ideas! Characters have already been starting up businesses (coffee shops, playhouses, a P.I. office, even a business selling non-locket network devices!) so be sure to check it out!

If you intend to opt out of the timeskip, please PM the mod account with the dates/nature of your opt out!

As a note, please remember the following:

• There will be no new shardbearers, no monthly events (and perforce no boons). Monarch contact will be limited to include shardbearers highly ranked within their court.


• Fairy rings will be inoperable. Powers, abilities, and boons may be used to allow for fast-travel. Otherwise, characters must hoof it to where they wish to go.


• Lockets will not work. Characters would need traditional means to keep in touch, or need to fashion (or purchase) their own alternative means of magical communication. These alternative devices can be used on the network alongside lockets, and can be fashioned to interact with lockets.


• Border violence will be the norm. Small incursions and raids into enemy territory will be frequent. Unseelie in Seelie territory, and vice versa, will be hunted by patrols/town guards/etc. NPC guards may unexpectedly drop into threads where characters are in enemy territory.


• Boons all perform to their original specifications. None are depowered or vanished, though all would show the signs of age as appropriate for the passage of time.


• Influence and quests would continue to be given and rewarded as normal (one quest per player per ooc month), for our OOC sanity. PCs who are able to give quests are encouraged to have an expanded docket of them at the ready.

For some reason I keep thinking that Di hangs around the Citadel... Gil will be there for sure and probably frequently once he learns it's a seat of political power.

Otherwise I am a little limited on the transportation front and Gil will mostly be out hunting/exploring if Lancer-kun is into that sort of thing.

Probably because Kayneth is a Marquis and it is only natural to link them together. I know that early March Diarmuid will be stopping by to check in on Kayneth, will Gil be around at that time? Otherwise, throw a time at me when he will be there and it won't be too hard for me to have a reason to get Diarmuid there. He has more than one way of traveling from place to place quickly, so no reason for him not to use it. Especially if Gil is limited at the moment.

Otherwise, he is going to be hunting the golden swans and will be around Daonna when the hangings happen, if either of those help out.

I'm talking to Ran and Vyn right now about the timing re: his Citadel visit -- I'll see if I can pitch March so they can meet up then. I will get back to you as soon as I know.

Otherwise swan hunting will be a perfect fallback plan since he'll be there for sure. Hopefully with a shiny new bow.

\o/ And no hurry at all. If it can't be worked out, swan hunting is just fine. Especially if Diarmuid gets to see the sword-bow in action! He will be so envious of that thing, no lie.

I've got a sorted slot with your name on it right over here! I think I will set this and any interactions with Flora chronologically before meeting up with Kayneth, so he'll be be wandering around the innards of the Citadel for easy interaction (and he'll also likely be in a better mood to boot).
