Timeskip CR Meme

While similar to the CR meme in some ways, the fields within the text area below are meant to facilitate planning and plotting so that by the time the CR meme rolls around everyone has a much clearer idea of what all has been happening and in what direction they are heading, especially as the timeskip looms large on the horizon.

Should you need it, you can always refer to the re-posted Timeskip Calendar for ideas! Characters have already been starting up businesses (coffee shops, playhouses, a P.I. office, even a business selling non-locket network devices!) so be sure to check it out!

If you intend to opt out of the timeskip, please PM the mod account with the dates/nature of your opt out!

As a note, please remember the following:

• There will be no new shardbearers, no monthly events (and perforce no boons). Monarch contact will be limited to include shardbearers highly ranked within their court.


• Fairy rings will be inoperable. Powers, abilities, and boons may be used to allow for fast-travel. Otherwise, characters must hoof it to where they wish to go.


• Lockets will not work. Characters would need traditional means to keep in touch, or need to fashion (or purchase) their own alternative means of magical communication. These alternative devices can be used on the network alongside lockets, and can be fashioned to interact with lockets.


• Border violence will be the norm. Small incursions and raids into enemy territory will be frequent. Unseelie in Seelie territory, and vice versa, will be hunted by patrols/town guards/etc. NPC guards may unexpectedly drop into threads where characters are in enemy territory.


• Boons all perform to their original specifications. None are depowered or vanished, though all would show the signs of age as appropriate for the passage of time.


• Influence and quests would continue to be given and rewarded as normal (one quest per player per ooc month), for our OOC sanity. PCs who are able to give quests are encouraged to have an expanded docket of them at the ready.

Excellent! Pod will definitely want to talk to him soon, so we can set up a conversation and go from there? Also, Pod will probably be freaking out so hard at the Harp event, because her canon is mean to her sometimes, and there's a character that uses an evil harp to mind control people into murder. And Pod ends up having her control over her limbs taken away from her by the same evil-music-magic. Yeah.

jfc pod what the hell is your life even. sam is wrapping her in a blanket and never letting her go. 8( i don't know how much of the harp event i'm going to be threading out ( sam's just gonna think he's going through a ptsd relapse weeps ) but!! he would definitely want to help her figure out that her body is still her own, autonomy is v.v. important.

so starting with a conversation and moving towards regularly checking in with each other would be perf. i think. they can try to distract each other with healing things!!

Haha. Pod's canon is occasionally just casually cruel to characters. (one of the princes gets to lose his entire family, except for one uncle. ...to the other uncle, and an evil mage, who were also slowly poisoning him to death, which then puts him in charge of an entire country, at 7 I think? The last surviving uncle gets to be his regent, at least, and they do avoid civil war, but yeah.)

Oh ouch, poor Sam. Pod will want to try to help, when she's not freaking out herself. But if I get confirmation of the lockets still working, Pod will probably make a locket post trying to warn people about the evil. ...she's probably going to think Gull's spirit hitched a ride on her to Drabwurld oops.

I hope to get some timeskip stuff started on my days off this week so I'll link when I get a check in set up and then off we go!
