Timeskip CR Meme

While similar to the CR meme in some ways, the fields within the text area below are meant to facilitate planning and plotting so that by the time the CR meme rolls around everyone has a much clearer idea of what all has been happening and in what direction they are heading, especially as the timeskip looms large on the horizon.

Should you need it, you can always refer to the re-posted Timeskip Calendar for ideas! Characters have already been starting up businesses (coffee shops, playhouses, a P.I. office, even a business selling non-locket network devices!) so be sure to check it out!

If you intend to opt out of the timeskip, please PM the mod account with the dates/nature of your opt out!

As a note, please remember the following:

• There will be no new shardbearers, no monthly events (and perforce no boons). Monarch contact will be limited to include shardbearers highly ranked within their court.


• Fairy rings will be inoperable. Powers, abilities, and boons may be used to allow for fast-travel. Otherwise, characters must hoof it to where they wish to go.


• Lockets will not work. Characters would need traditional means to keep in touch, or need to fashion (or purchase) their own alternative means of magical communication. These alternative devices can be used on the network alongside lockets, and can be fashioned to interact with lockets.


• Border violence will be the norm. Small incursions and raids into enemy territory will be frequent. Unseelie in Seelie territory, and vice versa, will be hunted by patrols/town guards/etc. NPC guards may unexpectedly drop into threads where characters are in enemy territory.


• Boons all perform to their original specifications. None are depowered or vanished, though all would show the signs of age as appropriate for the passage of time.


• Influence and quests would continue to be given and rewarded as normal (one quest per player per ooc month), for our OOC sanity. PCs who are able to give quests are encouraged to have an expanded docket of them at the ready.

Character: Howard Stark
Series: MCU
Court: Unseelie
Current Location: The Spires
Planned Travel: Going to be travelling cross land and sea, researching it for his own sake, searching for vibranium anything of use to him. Meeting people? Doing science? Blowing himself up? Yes, all highly likely.
General overview of recent events: Arrived, thrown into a war, escaped and sought refuge in the spires. It hasn't been a good start for him. :|

Who are your character's known associates/friends/enemies?:
Howard is very, very new, so he doesn't have any particular friends, though he is happy to get to know people, especially those who can be of use for him. also all ladies :| However, he considers himself a friend of James Barnes and Steve Rogers, though whether or not they feel the same way is up for debate.

What notable events has my character been a part of?:
He is still new, so hasn't really done much of anything.

What can other characters easily ICly learn about your character?:
That he's a scientist, an inventor, and considers himself to be one of the greatest minds of his age.
Was an essential part of winning WWII for the allies
Helped in the creation of Captain America
Is (was) wealthy.
Very interested in learning about the world. (Will ask a lot of questions to everyone given the chance.)

What information is limited to specific CR?:
How much the war actually affected him.
That he grew up poor.
Has feelings????

What information is my character willing to share/can be readily discovered if another works to uncover it?:
Talk to him long enough, and you'll start to see cracks when he talks about the war. The things that went wrong slowly will come out, the things he regrets, though the latter will take quite a bit of work.
That technically he's sort of on the run from his government, which is why he's not completely against being where he is right now.
All his bad babies hahaha.

• Howard's main plan is that he's going to be going around the drabwurld searching for things he can use for science!!!! His main goal is finding something he can use for gun powder, that's what he says, at least, though secretly he'll be searching around for vibranium. He's always suspected that it comes from space, so maybe this is its origin planet.

• Spending quite a bit of time at the Station?



• Meeting a lot of people! He'll be travelling back and forth, so lord knows he'll probably get in trouble a fair few times, it's just in his nature. But mostly he wants to discover everything across the lands for himself

OK SO. We talked about this on Plurk but I'm putting it here too. Castle and Howard definitely should meet because he thinks science stuff is cool (even if he can do zero of it) , but also more selfishly because Castle would really love to be able to use a gun here. He's also going to be learning some basic offensive and defensive magic over the skip because being a PI means putting himself in dangerous situations and since he can't use a gun, he's going to need something potentially lethal to threaten people with if they mess with him.
