Timeskip CR Meme

While similar to the CR meme in some ways, the fields within the text area below are meant to facilitate planning and plotting so that by the time the CR meme rolls around everyone has a much clearer idea of what all has been happening and in what direction they are heading, especially as the timeskip looms large on the horizon.

Should you need it, you can always refer to the re-posted Timeskip Calendar for ideas! Characters have already been starting up businesses (coffee shops, playhouses, a P.I. office, even a business selling non-locket network devices!) so be sure to check it out!

If you intend to opt out of the timeskip, please PM the mod account with the dates/nature of your opt out!

As a note, please remember the following:

• There will be no new shardbearers, no monthly events (and perforce no boons). Monarch contact will be limited to include shardbearers highly ranked within their court.


• Fairy rings will be inoperable. Powers, abilities, and boons may be used to allow for fast-travel. Otherwise, characters must hoof it to where they wish to go.


• Lockets will not work. Characters would need traditional means to keep in touch, or need to fashion (or purchase) their own alternative means of magical communication. These alternative devices can be used on the network alongside lockets, and can be fashioned to interact with lockets.


• Border violence will be the norm. Small incursions and raids into enemy territory will be frequent. Unseelie in Seelie territory, and vice versa, will be hunted by patrols/town guards/etc. NPC guards may unexpectedly drop into threads where characters are in enemy territory.


• Boons all perform to their original specifications. None are depowered or vanished, though all would show the signs of age as appropriate for the passage of time.


• Influence and quests would continue to be given and rewarded as normal (one quest per player per ooc month), for our OOC sanity. PCs who are able to give quests are encouraged to have an expanded docket of them at the ready.

Most definitely! I just need to get around to getting back to that google doc and figure stuff out, i need to ask the mods a couple of things re: potential boons and whatnot. i am just trying to organise since i missed so much. They definitely will, I look forward to it a lot. Yes. Good. Perfect. Howard's secrets aren't always the nicest, though. :|| He can talk to him about planes?? 8D???

Yeah I'm still generally organizing some stuff, too, but I definitely have plans to at least toss up a log for that group once things are all settled in and actively work with everybody to make this a thing :D (And if you ever need anything to get caught back up or anything just let me know, I don't know how much help I'll be but I can try!) PFF it's not like Hiro's innocent either man and he's currently idolizing Jason Todd and Loki of all people BUT PLANES ARE PROBABLY A SAFE SUBJECT...PROBABLY...ahaha

That sounds perfect, I look forward to looking in on it. I wonder how far in advance they'd be told of the project? My plan currently is to throw out a Howard network post, after the battle, where he asks about the fairy rings, how they work, where the closest to him would be since he's currently at the spires. He's wanting to head over to the station. And then post up a log post the following day where he's setting off from the spires, then on his journey to the fairy ring, then at the station, or what's left of it at least. I believe I read it sustained some damage?
(gosh do I ever. I haven't been able to be around really for almost two and a half weeks so I missed...everything. I think perhaps Howard had something of a concussion or knocked out maybe somehow, which is why he ended up at the spires rather than fighting, not that he would have done much anyway but.)

From what we've heard Saber's contacting all of them over the course of March so everything will be at least discussed by the end of the month and work would begin early April! That's as far as I understand so far, we're all sort of navigating this together in the meantime. I think that's a solid plan especially since the rings and stuff don't break until May so now is a good time. Yes! The Station sustained damaged thanks to our little jabberwock friend but it's still standing and perfect for Howard to explore and wonder what he missed in the last several weeks. (It's such a long period to be out but it sounds like you have a good plan in place!)

Not a child :|!!! He's totally considered an adult in Dorchadas, Saber said so Oh god no he probably will though if Howard shares his knowledge. Please send help, SOS, etc

Ah, perfect. That sounds great. That way he can get to the station and whatnot in that time, be contacted, gather up extra information before setting off on his grand adventure. He can run into Hiro beforehand, they spoke through the lockets, after all, and then they'll meet again when everything starts going south. Bless, that'll be great. Ah, perfect. That's what I thought. o/ (It is such a long time, it was terrible timing, lord.)

That sounds good to me! Hiro's planning on bouncing around between the station and the 10th spire until the fairy rings break anyway so more than likely he'll be around whenever Howard gets out there and then when the project starts up be on a pretty decent basis. (But at least we're all here to help get you caught back up now that you're ready to)

He will fight anybody who says he's a kid okayokay THAT IS LITERALLY THE LAST TERRIBLE THING HE NEEDS he appreciates that thank you Howard. Kid's just starting puberty, let's not scar him. He'll mostly just want to know more about how he helped build Steve tbh because...well Steve's a person. Tell us more about the super-serum and what-have-you.

Nobody understands the joy of hovercats but Hiro's at least booning Mochi. The time will come soon 8|

That's exactly why Hiro wins by default, sorry bro. I need to figure out exactly if Hiro's world views the Avengers are real people or comics characters since BH6 the movie is such an off-shoot of the comic that it doesn't even make sense anymore but either way he's something that was created by science and that's amazing.

Goddddd if things work out there will eventually be a hovercat somehow. Someway. Coming up to Howard's face and licking his chin and stuff.

Though not quite know where he has it from whether it be comics or history, He is years and years past Howard's time, after all, he would be an obscure figure of the past.

Comics!Hiro idolizes guys like Reed Richards and Tony Stark so in theory this Hiro could recognize the Stark name. There's also the fact that he has CR with Loki who has a Starkphone so he'd recognize the name no matter what. I might just do the weird handwavey timey-wimey thing and just have him internally fry-squint at Howard trying to pinpoint everything.

...yes. Yes, that will be possible.
