Timeskip CR Meme

While similar to the CR meme in some ways, the fields within the text area below are meant to facilitate planning and plotting so that by the time the CR meme rolls around everyone has a much clearer idea of what all has been happening and in what direction they are heading, especially as the timeskip looms large on the horizon.

Should you need it, you can always refer to the re-posted Timeskip Calendar for ideas! Characters have already been starting up businesses (coffee shops, playhouses, a P.I. office, even a business selling non-locket network devices!) so be sure to check it out!

If you intend to opt out of the timeskip, please PM the mod account with the dates/nature of your opt out!

As a note, please remember the following:

• There will be no new shardbearers, no monthly events (and perforce no boons). Monarch contact will be limited to include shardbearers highly ranked within their court.


• Fairy rings will be inoperable. Powers, abilities, and boons may be used to allow for fast-travel. Otherwise, characters must hoof it to where they wish to go.


• Lockets will not work. Characters would need traditional means to keep in touch, or need to fashion (or purchase) their own alternative means of magical communication. These alternative devices can be used on the network alongside lockets, and can be fashioned to interact with lockets.


• Border violence will be the norm. Small incursions and raids into enemy territory will be frequent. Unseelie in Seelie territory, and vice versa, will be hunted by patrols/town guards/etc. NPC guards may unexpectedly drop into threads where characters are in enemy territory.


• Boons all perform to their original specifications. None are depowered or vanished, though all would show the signs of age as appropriate for the passage of time.


• Influence and quests would continue to be given and rewarded as normal (one quest per player per ooc month), for our OOC sanity. PCs who are able to give quests are encouraged to have an expanded docket of them at the ready.

But then hers are more modern than his, even. he is unseelie but should they cross path on neutral grounds, she should try to teach him to ride. (and now i'm imagining her running across him somewhere in the hills with him just leading a horse he got, and questioning him about it. and him having to awkwardly admit the horse won't listen to him. it's more stubborn than most women even >()

She's already teaching Charles horseback. I don't see why she couldn't offer him too. Even if he's Unseelie. She's not particularly caring in regards to Courts anyway, more judging people as she herself meets them.

Come Howard, let the not Disney princess teach you how to ride horses firing arrows into the sunset.

o/ I'll be having a log up likely tomorrow, both a network and a regular where Howard is going to be travelling from the Spires to the Station, though he's a little untrusting of fairy rings. And then they're going to be broken anyway so he could definitely use the horse. Although hahaha Howard is worse than just being unseelie when she meets him. 8|

Yes he will be up for that. He loves riding.

Ha. She's not really using the fairy rings herself, but then she has her special mount to make up for that wariness of magic anyway. But yes, she can absolutely help him with that at some point during timeskip if you'd like.
