Timeskip CR Meme

While similar to the CR meme in some ways, the fields within the text area below are meant to facilitate planning and plotting so that by the time the CR meme rolls around everyone has a much clearer idea of what all has been happening and in what direction they are heading, especially as the timeskip looms large on the horizon.

Should you need it, you can always refer to the re-posted Timeskip Calendar for ideas! Characters have already been starting up businesses (coffee shops, playhouses, a P.I. office, even a business selling non-locket network devices!) so be sure to check it out!

If you intend to opt out of the timeskip, please PM the mod account with the dates/nature of your opt out!

As a note, please remember the following:

• There will be no new shardbearers, no monthly events (and perforce no boons). Monarch contact will be limited to include shardbearers highly ranked within their court.


• Fairy rings will be inoperable. Powers, abilities, and boons may be used to allow for fast-travel. Otherwise, characters must hoof it to where they wish to go.


• Lockets will not work. Characters would need traditional means to keep in touch, or need to fashion (or purchase) their own alternative means of magical communication. These alternative devices can be used on the network alongside lockets, and can be fashioned to interact with lockets.


• Border violence will be the norm. Small incursions and raids into enemy territory will be frequent. Unseelie in Seelie territory, and vice versa, will be hunted by patrols/town guards/etc. NPC guards may unexpectedly drop into threads where characters are in enemy territory.


• Boons all perform to their original specifications. None are depowered or vanished, though all would show the signs of age as appropriate for the passage of time.


• Influence and quests would continue to be given and rewarded as normal (one quest per player per ooc month), for our OOC sanity. PCs who are able to give quests are encouraged to have an expanded docket of them at the ready.

ON A SERIOUS NOTE, if he's keen to learn things, zuko will teach him! he'll be at the main events throughout the timeskip if that helps organise how they can meet? maybe howard can teach him technology and ... stuff ... that's futuristic because he's a medieval boy at heart.

weLL. He will appreciate someone finding his technology futuristic! And that works out quite well, I plan to have Howard at the majority of those as well, so that sounds like an ideal way for their paths to cross, and then he can take an interest in what he has to offer. He wants to learn as much as he can, after all.

I KNOW YOU SAID EVERY EVENT but the log is up so i gotta ask again: will he be at the tourney? and if yes, will you be shoving up a top level? i don't have any plans to toss up a top, but if you're not, either, we could always do something closed! zuko would've used his fire and swords in the magical combat and melee respectively so if howard was busy ogling his lack of facial hair, we could use that as an initiator!

I have a top level already actually! He's in the tents and pavilions area, he's been eating and betting and playing card games, plus i have a general submit ur own option too sO. but we can also do something closed if you'd like. however FANCY. Howard would definitely come up to him after to talk about his skills because it's still cool as hell even if he's getting more used to magic.
