Timeskip CR Meme

While similar to the CR meme in some ways, the fields within the text area below are meant to facilitate planning and plotting so that by the time the CR meme rolls around everyone has a much clearer idea of what all has been happening and in what direction they are heading, especially as the timeskip looms large on the horizon.

Should you need it, you can always refer to the re-posted Timeskip Calendar for ideas! Characters have already been starting up businesses (coffee shops, playhouses, a P.I. office, even a business selling non-locket network devices!) so be sure to check it out!

If you intend to opt out of the timeskip, please PM the mod account with the dates/nature of your opt out!

As a note, please remember the following:

• There will be no new shardbearers, no monthly events (and perforce no boons). Monarch contact will be limited to include shardbearers highly ranked within their court.


• Fairy rings will be inoperable. Powers, abilities, and boons may be used to allow for fast-travel. Otherwise, characters must hoof it to where they wish to go.


• Lockets will not work. Characters would need traditional means to keep in touch, or need to fashion (or purchase) their own alternative means of magical communication. These alternative devices can be used on the network alongside lockets, and can be fashioned to interact with lockets.


• Border violence will be the norm. Small incursions and raids into enemy territory will be frequent. Unseelie in Seelie territory, and vice versa, will be hunted by patrols/town guards/etc. NPC guards may unexpectedly drop into threads where characters are in enemy territory.


• Boons all perform to their original specifications. None are depowered or vanished, though all would show the signs of age as appropriate for the passage of time.


• Influence and quests would continue to be given and rewarded as normal (one quest per player per ooc month), for our OOC sanity. PCs who are able to give quests are encouraged to have an expanded docket of them at the ready.

hmmm. I think the best pre-samhain schedule-alignment is sometime in June? Bolin's got traveling plans for July and August, and August might carry over into September a little.

that works! i don't have a lot planned for him in the summer anyway so it's better to work around bolin's plans.

coolcool! It looks like June has some general land-healing and the Treun tourney, both of which I definitely plan on getting Bolin into. He's mostly sticking around Caer Glaem and Redgate/some of the Western Road this month when he's not heading to/at the tourney. Got any preferences or premade plans regarding either of those?

ooh! charles will be at the tourney to cheer on hermione for sure. if not, probably around official type places in glaschu (caer glaem, citadel.)

treun sounds like a plan! i think that event's gonna have a mingle log of its own put up by the mods before the timeskip's over, so we can cross paths then! and if there isn't a mingle log i can just set up a starter in Bolin's timeskip post no problem.
