Timeskip CR Meme

While similar to the CR meme in some ways, the fields within the text area below are meant to facilitate planning and plotting so that by the time the CR meme rolls around everyone has a much clearer idea of what all has been happening and in what direction they are heading, especially as the timeskip looms large on the horizon.

Should you need it, you can always refer to the re-posted Timeskip Calendar for ideas! Characters have already been starting up businesses (coffee shops, playhouses, a P.I. office, even a business selling non-locket network devices!) so be sure to check it out!

If you intend to opt out of the timeskip, please PM the mod account with the dates/nature of your opt out!

As a note, please remember the following:

• There will be no new shardbearers, no monthly events (and perforce no boons). Monarch contact will be limited to include shardbearers highly ranked within their court.


• Fairy rings will be inoperable. Powers, abilities, and boons may be used to allow for fast-travel. Otherwise, characters must hoof it to where they wish to go.


• Lockets will not work. Characters would need traditional means to keep in touch, or need to fashion (or purchase) their own alternative means of magical communication. These alternative devices can be used on the network alongside lockets, and can be fashioned to interact with lockets.


• Border violence will be the norm. Small incursions and raids into enemy territory will be frequent. Unseelie in Seelie territory, and vice versa, will be hunted by patrols/town guards/etc. NPC guards may unexpectedly drop into threads where characters are in enemy territory.


• Boons all perform to their original specifications. None are depowered or vanished, though all would show the signs of age as appropriate for the passage of time.


• Influence and quests would continue to be given and rewarded as normal (one quest per player per ooc month), for our OOC sanity. PCs who are able to give quests are encouraged to have an expanded docket of them at the ready.

/casually copes what was posted to connor's cr page I feel as if howard would be a good fit for the brotherhood? his goal with his tech has always been to help the general society, to better living for everyone, his previous associations with governments has been because it was for the better, but once the war was done he cut those ties because he didn't want them controlling him.

I feel that if explained properly, he could become a part of it, and adhere to the ways. After all, his aim has always been to make things better for mankind, he worked for the government during the war because that was what was for the best, but when the government started to use his creations to cause unnecessary death and destruction, he cut ties with them. (In canon they went so far as to steal items of his and use them to great devastation and massive loss of lives, and then when he doesn't cooperate, turn on him.) He's created items that are so dangerous that he doesn't trust anyone with so he destroys them. He wants to create good in the world, and so he follows himself, and himself alone.
