Timeskip CR Meme

While similar to the CR meme in some ways, the fields within the text area below are meant to facilitate planning and plotting so that by the time the CR meme rolls around everyone has a much clearer idea of what all has been happening and in what direction they are heading, especially as the timeskip looms large on the horizon.

Should you need it, you can always refer to the re-posted Timeskip Calendar for ideas! Characters have already been starting up businesses (coffee shops, playhouses, a P.I. office, even a business selling non-locket network devices!) so be sure to check it out!

If you intend to opt out of the timeskip, please PM the mod account with the dates/nature of your opt out!

As a note, please remember the following:

• There will be no new shardbearers, no monthly events (and perforce no boons). Monarch contact will be limited to include shardbearers highly ranked within their court.


• Fairy rings will be inoperable. Powers, abilities, and boons may be used to allow for fast-travel. Otherwise, characters must hoof it to where they wish to go.


• Lockets will not work. Characters would need traditional means to keep in touch, or need to fashion (or purchase) their own alternative means of magical communication. These alternative devices can be used on the network alongside lockets, and can be fashioned to interact with lockets.


• Border violence will be the norm. Small incursions and raids into enemy territory will be frequent. Unseelie in Seelie territory, and vice versa, will be hunted by patrols/town guards/etc. NPC guards may unexpectedly drop into threads where characters are in enemy territory.


• Boons all perform to their original specifications. None are depowered or vanished, though all would show the signs of age as appropriate for the passage of time.


• Influence and quests would continue to be given and rewarded as normal (one quest per player per ooc month), for our OOC sanity. PCs who are able to give quests are encouraged to have an expanded docket of them at the ready.

WELL now that lancelot is doing a lot more things than he was when this comment was made, is there a time that works better for him (in amongst his smiling and waving)? maybe later in july at some point? so this sort of thing is like, fresh in lancelot's mind? :|a ALSO i think that i will have remus take that desert quest for april, if it's still open then? he's going to be collecting a lot of people interested in learning/using/understanding/helping with magic, and a quest like that would help him be able to do that...?


AND THAT IS FINE I UNDERSTAND i mean i don't really like playing with "i know your canon" "this guy has your face" sort of things in general BUT i totally understand. meeting in passing and/or knowing of each other but not really crossing paths beyond a "hi here is your locket" and "yes your queen/baby is safe", either/or!

He's using his warm-blanket magic for the march event to defrost people! Which is before any smiling and waving anyway. So he could just recruit Remus to help him enchant more things faster to keep people from freezing? If you are up for that! c:

YES THIS WORKS FOR ME!!! remus could show him his fancy little fire trick i forget whether he's demonstrated his wordless, wandless magic before or not IT IS VERY FANCY recruiting him to meet up to help enchant things and just generally geek about magic, y/y? :')
