I guess half of it is that I needed to hear it myself, and the rest because a lot of those I teach need it as well. I may as well say the words that helped me, and hope that it'll assist others.

My younger self is very important to who I've become, but I maintain no illusions that I was a total brat.

I think I could forgive a great deal of thievery.

I'd say that his name is ironic, but mostly it's just a great big warning sign about what to expect, isn't it?
