I might side-eye slightly, because sometimes statements like that are true, and sometimes they're self-blame about a situation that's beyond anyone's control.

I had a chance to remove the curse, you know.

I decided I would rather be unique, and touched, than normal like all the rest.

That makes me wicked, does it not?

I wouldn't say so. But then, there's a reason I'm unseelie, and taking what one wants is one of the reasons I fall under that heading.
