This one is one of my favorites.

 the share my past meme

1. Post some video clips, passages, comic pages, or whatever that depicts some moments from your character's past. It can be something silly, something serious, whatever you want. (Please link them and don't embed them for easier browsing. Also warn accordingly.)

2. Now everyone can see it, oh no!

3. Comment around, react ICly. Have fun!

Aye, I understand that now. [She gives a small sigh.] I just didn't like that I had no choice in th' matter. I could've handled it better, lookin' back on it.

[She smiles.]

Thank you. Bears seem to be a runnin' theme with my homeland.

I think everyone has their phases that they could grow out of and learn from. Even myself. I was....pretty spoiled and a bit of a brat as a child myself. So I get it. I'm not sure I'd have reacted much better if my mother lived to propose that sort of thing to me.

[Snow bites her lip, unsure how much to say here.]

Though all magic comes with a price, at least back home, so I'd probably still be wary on that front. I used it, more than once for help, but there's always a reason, and always a cost. Even if you don't immediately know what that cost might be.

I actually think I was a little better when I was a kid. I just got into arguments with my mother over weapons on th' table then.

[There's a small nod from Merida at that.]

Mum always says legends are lessons. It wasn't common knowledge that Mor'du was th' prince from th' tale of one who broke from his brothers when he was dissatisfied with th' land left to him by his late father. I've pieced together bits an' pieces since discoverin' th' lost kingdom. Admittedly I don't know his whole story, but he was still a victim of his own undoin'. His own curse came with a price, an' my mother would've become th' same had I not changed her back.

I grew out of it over time, but as a teenager I wasn't so bad. Though I imagine most wouldn't necessarily approve of weapons on the table if you're having a meal. [That does get a light giggle at the image though.]

Mor'du? That's a new one. But she's not wrong there. I'm glad it worked out that she was able to return to her human form though. That must have been terrifying, for both of you.
