Character Name: Houtarou Oreki
Series: Hyouka
Personality: Grumpy dork who doesn't like surprises. Kind of wedded to the idea of being "normal", even though now he's apparently a worldhopping fish-out-of-water adventurer. He's not happy about that, by the way! Good with mysteries. Bad with girls.
Court: Seelie
Current location: In Leathann for a quest (normally he would never quest, but a cute girl asked him nicely and so...). Often in the Station or Caer Glaem otherwise.
Open Posts: Nothing right now, but I should probably put one up this month
Current or future plans: A team quest in Leathann for now. Other than that, no plans; trying to get acquainted with the game and plan for a timeskip has been very challenging. I'm open to suggestions!
Catch-up: Was in The Station when the Jabberwock attacked and was saved from danger by Yukari Takeba.
Desired CR: Primarily friends who will get him in to trouble. Oreki tends to be hyper-prudent about avoiding trouble and he needs people to drag him into it, kicking and screaming. (Except if it's a cute girl doing the dragging, somehow he kicks and screams a lot less -- funny how that works.)
Shipping: I'm interested! Even very low-key relationships are a great way to get Oreki out of his comfort zone (his comfort zone is extremely small. Het pairings for this one, though.
Things to avoid: Oreki was traumatized enough just having been roused out of bed rudely; he's not fit for extremely dark storylines or larger-than-life violence.
Other: Oreki's canon is distinctly down-to-earth and human-scale -- he's a "mystery solver" but isn't a murderer-magnet like Conan, and he likewise isn't an infallible god like Ayumu from Spiral. I primarily want to stick with plot lines on that scale for him: enemies won't be the kinds of enemies who send out a thousand assassins. (Warning: Oreki is not assassin-proof.) Bigger stuff will probably see Oreki playing a bit role at best, or just being a bystander. Exceptions can be made for mysteries -- that's his thing, after all.

That would be excellent! He was there before Feb. 25 (during the rebuilding) and it looks like he'll be there again about March 21 or so. Does that work with Lemina's schedule?
