Icons and written text don't always give a clear impression of a character. That's what this meme is for! Describe what your character is like in person. What is their body type? Do they have any distinctive markings? Do they have an accent or unique kind of voice? Any interesting type of body language? This is especially great for any things that have changed since their arrival, particularly with the sort of alterations that have happened over the timeskip!

Basically, share anything that you feel other characters would notice about yours if they ran into them in the street.

Flora

Height; I like to say 5'7" before heels, but who even knows. Could be much taller (and looks it, sometimes), could be shorter (and looks it, sometimes). Thanks, animation.
Weight; Excuse.
Visual; It doesn't come across well, but I imagine Flora is actually incredibly athletic, the only delicate thing about her would be in how she might carry herself sometimes, but straight up looks? Nah. She's very acrobatic, is very good at ballet (have you seen ballerinas, man) and other dances, as well as gymnastics, and oh right there's the whole saving the world on the regular thing. She's pretty lean, but strongly lean. Still has dem hips, though.

Fashion; Jesus, okay, insert essay. Never leaves the house without lipstick. Sometimes, she'll wear eyeshadow if the outfit calls for it or if she just feels like it, but when she's not transformed, her make up is actually fairly lowkey. Will absolutely never ever be dressed sloppily. Her clothes look bamf, even when she's dressing down, they'll always be nice and well-made. Wears bright and/or pastel colours scientically 9001% of the time. Surprisingly, she doesn't have anything against black and has bemoaned not having much of it, it just never happens. Doesn't have anything against darker or muted tones either if the occasion calls for it, as long as it looks coo. But she is pretty fashion-conscious and trendy and values natural beauty and health. Is prone to jewellery in-game like oh my god, people have given her so much bling, but she will absolutely always be wearing two pairs of earrings and an ear cuff, and slightly less often but pretty often: one or two rings. (one is Dorian's, the other is from the Citadel). Flora can have priorities over fashion, but if she has time, she likes to stop and shop in the places she's been to to buy what they have to fit in, but also because she just really likes it. Her hair's always done in some lovely style or other when she's in Caer Glaem or the Citadel. It's seldom loose these days.

Demeanour; It depends on who's around her and the situation. Awkwardtree is actually very interesting for this because Flora's courtly manners and etiquette are princess-tier, and she's had to use them much more often because of the setting and her station. So, great posture always, holds herself elegantly, curtsies are fly as hell. But even around friends, even if she lets herself go, she's not terribly sloppy about it. The most you might get from her is like tired flops, or something, or she'll let herself lie back in the grass instead of sitting primly. Her physical tics and body language are also just naturally pretty humble, demure, or even maternal except when they're not; she often folds her hands for a variety of reasons from anything from excitement to uncertainty, when on stage if everyone is blowing kisses or waving, she'll be the one taking a little bow. Something she does do that she won't in politer company is rub the back of her head, facepalm, or slouch over stuff, so it's pretty telling if she does that around you. She points or wags fingers to express disapproval VERY MOM-LIKE. She does touch her chin or lip a lot when she's thinking or working something out.

Oh, and she just touches everyone.

Aural; Ooh ooh, my favourite. Flora is very openly expressive in her face, but there's actually a contrast when it comes to her voice. It's not that she has everything on lock, it's more that her tones of voice tend to be subtle, and it's very calm and gentle almost all the time. To whit, she's only really yelled once, and at another time when she had to raise her voice to be heard over her arguing friends, she winced after and surprised her friends. Yeah. Even when looks mad as all hell in her icons, she's probably being calmly disapproving or whispering harshly, or something like that. Yelling is 2hard. Her mannerisms really depend on who she's talking to. She grew up under a monarchy and serves one, so while she is naturally very polite, she tends to keep her speech on the more formal side for all the courtly peeps. For everyone else/close friends/default state of being, well, she can still be pretty formal, poetic, and also speak like someone's grandmother, but is also a lot more casual.
She almost never stutters, but she does go "um" or "uh", sometimes. Honestly, if you want to get the most out of her, be Stella. Or Stella-like.

Olfactory; Flowers, flowers, and more flowers. Working? Flowers. Chilling? Flowers. Just nice flowers and earth or other planty things all the time. She wears and/or takes care of and/or rolls around in them all the time, ok, she actually earns it. Guess what she puts in her bath water? Anything she damn well pleases. Petals, cinnamon, vanilla, mint--IT'S GREAT BEING THE FAIRY OF NATURE.

But. But. Occasionally, she might smell like blood. Because of her work, as well. So.

Yeah! It's why it's my favourite, it's a very interesting juxtaposition to me, because it seems a bit incongruous but she makes it work. Like the only time I think I've ever heard her voice get rough was when Stella almost got her killed SO.

Basically if Flora ever develops a very good pokerface, you're all fucked.

But yeah i always take great pains to explain her voice because it runs counter to what one might assume. she does emote in her voice it's just she's waaaay more expressive in her face than speech. one of my favourite examples is like on her quest and influence page where she looks REALLY REALLY FUCKING HAPPY LIKE 8D LEVELS OF EXCITE but she's actually being really quiet, then. More euphoric and blissed out then gosh gosh oh my gosh levels of excited, but i don't think it's obvious just from looking.

Oh wow. I WILL KEEP THIS IN MIND EVEN MORE WHILE RPING because that's really cool.

Oh, and she just touches everyone.
