little details meme
| Icons and written text don't always give a clear impression of a character. That's what this meme is for! Describe what your character is like in person. What is their body type? Do they have any distinctive markings? Do they have an accent or unique kind of voice? Any interesting type of body language? This is especially great for any things that have changed since their arrival, particularly with the sort of alterations that have happened over the timeskip! Height; Roughly 5’0”
Weight; 100ish. Kid’s tiny.
Visual; Hiro’s basically a runt, let’s be honest here. He’s very short and slight and hasn’t quite hit his growth spurt yet. Messy black hair with brown highlights that goes all over the place and large brown eyes coupled with slightly tanned skin thanks to his heritage. Probably the most noteworthy thing about Hiro’s appearance is that he has a gap between his two front teeth.
Fashion; Hiro doesn’t give a shit about clothes. Canonly he has a tendency to wear mostly t-shirts in bright colors (sometimes with robots on them) paired with cargo shorts, a blue hoodie and sneakers. That hasn’t changed since showing up in Drabworld. He’s not impressed with the battle armor here though and instead continually longs for his own armor from home. Hiro’s the type of person who’s more concerned about what he’s working on and often gets lost in his thoughts and will sometimes wander out without brushing his hair or anything. His appearance means very little to him.
Demeanour; Hiro does a fantastic job of exuding confidence when he absolutely needs to, but at the end of the day he’s actually a little awkward. He fidgets quite a bit unless he’s really neck-deep in a new project and generally he’s a little nervous around everybody when he first meets them. He’s very expressive around the people he’s really close to, however, to the point of being overdramatic (and sometimes volatile.) One thing that can also be said is that Hiro has been known to be pretty reckless. He bounces on the balls of his feet when he’s really excited about something. He also has a tendency to touch his hair. A lot. (Hands running through it when he’s nervous or when he’s thinking mostly.)
Aural; With Hiro it’s a mix of sounding incredibly educated (graduated high school at 13 and going to college studying robotic engineering by 14) while also throwing around various slang (bro, dude, buddy, etc.) Here, have a voice clip. He sometimes stutters over his words when he’s nervous, and he tends to speak faster when he’s really excited about something.
Olfactory; Back home Hiro probably smelled like a combination of machinery and the lightest hint of cherry blossoms which he would solely blame on his Aunt Cass and claim it’s the only kind of soap she’ll buy (and pointedly ignore that he doesn’t mind in the slightest.) In Drabwurld he probably smells like a basic soap, basic deodorant, and a little smoke thanks to working with his fire magic. He hates it and tries to cover it with body spray he filched from the Station a while ago.
