With the game entering the second half of the timeskip, so many characters are getting involved in a lot of different things and changing in so many ways, not to mention changing things in the Drabwurld. But with so much activity, it's hard to know what's really going on and who's doing what. This meme is designed to not only to update the playerbase of what your character is up to, but also plot out anything you'd like to accomplish and thread out during the second half.

Character name: Leo Valdez
Canon: Percy Jackson & the Olympians
About your character: Leo is a son of Hephaestus, a mechanic, and a blacksmith. He's good at building and fixing things, making jokes, and generally being ridiculous. He also has his father's Blessing, so he can summon fire and is immune to any and all flames. In the Drabwurld, he's probably best known for being The Architect for the Seelie Court and builder of the White Citadel, or maybe that guy on the battlefield who covers himself in flames.

Character's current location: Cothromach

Businesses/titles your character has: Son of Hephaestus, The Architect, Shield of the Cothromach, apprentice to the dwarves of Cothromach

What has your character accomplished during the timeskip so far? Besides building Loch Valdez and starting his apprenticeship, Leo participated in the Magic Dueling portion of the Treun tournament. He lost, but it counts. Aside from that, he's helped unfreeze some people, found an acceptable explanation for the magic vs. technology problem, and helped investigate the Oracle's murder.

What are they doing for the second half so far? So far... not much. I have vague plans for him to hunt down some inmates and fight in the skeleton war, but nothing concrete. He'll also be working on an alternate method of inter-court communication.

What would you like to accomplish for them during the second half of the timeskip? Providing I get the go-ahead for it, the holographic scrolls he invented in his own universe will be recreated for inter-court communication. He'll be trying to find other ways to implement it, including how to transfer those capabilities into specific items and expand the options for communication. As it stands, the first batch of scrolls would be video only.

Is there any specific kind of CR you're seeking during the timeskip? Friends, mostly. The boy won't admit it, but he's kind of lonely.

Who/where is your character most-likely to be found spending time with during the timeskip? He'll mostly be in Cothromach, because you know, apprenticeship to learn how to use magic in forging. He's done it to an extent in his own world, but not like they do it here. He's not bound there, however, and as a Shield of the Cothromach he is allowed to come and go as he sees fit.

Anything else? idk, I've just been kind of lost in the timeskip in general. I'm currently on hiatus until April 30th to try and get my head on straight, but I'm up for backdating things if necessary and I'm hoping this will help!

If you want to have Leo do more building Lance is building watchtowers around Glaschu! Even if you don't want a quest (since they're not enough to rank Leo up, only 1-star) he could be sent to help someone building one just for fun/threading without word count concerns/just to help them make theirs etc! or more than one person c: there's 7 to be built, 1 taken and 1 pending

I think I'll stick with him just helping out for now. I'm trying to take it easy here for a while, so not having to worry about word counts or anything for the time being would be great.

ALSO Lancelot was thinking of building himself a house away from Caer Glaem to hide in every so often c: if Leo wants to help him design that he'd appreciate it. He was a dark ages village boy he is used to like... one room huts......

no worries, i'm technically on hiatus so i'm trying to take it easy until the end of April.

if Lancelot asks, he would be glad to help out! since leo's done stuff for him before they've probably chatted over projects a lot already so it wouldn't be that big a leap for him!

Gendry is establishing a second Smith's Ring in the Cothromach (basically the same thing as in Troichean Beinn) and will be wanting all the smiths in the city to become a part of it. Since Leo has been there the last year that Gendry hasn't, I think there could be some interesting potential there. Gendry has learned a lot of the same stuff Leo is working on now as well.

well there's no reason not to join up! what's it entail, exactly, being part of a smithing ring?

Well for one, they actually practice clockwork magic stuff there! Only smiths are permitted to enter the ring, as the dwarves practice their secret crafts there. There is stuff that will be in the Ring that not even the Cothromach dwarves will have been practicing. Leo may need to pull some strings to learn extra stuff (Gendry was granted permission to learn clockwork magic via a boon), but Leo would otherwise be learning among the best of the best.
