The Timeskip Check-In Meme

With the game entering the second half of the timeskip, so many characters are getting involved in a lot of different things and changing in so many ways, not to mention changing things in the Drabwurld. But with so much activity, it's hard to know what's really going on and who's doing what. This meme is designed to not only to update the playerbase of what your character is up to, but also plot out anything you'd like to accomplish and thread out during the second half.

So what kind of bonding would you like? I know they have a strained relationship due to a number of things and Rin is looking for someone to blame for her suffering. It's just right now she's doing a lot in order to drown out her own feelings so he can easily slide in. They had a couple of early March conversations that were strained and then there's the tournament. Anything else you wanted to squeeze in?

The network thread went kind of an unexpected direction (in a very good way) and we've got the tournament thread going which I suspect may ease tensions. A little. Slightly. Maybe. He's done a lot of the Creeper around her but at this stage is also attempting to convey he's not really much of the same threat he was before, because a) sucking up for any potential connections and b) he holds a legitimate interest in her as a magus and what she can do. c) twintails

Also, obligatory check-in regarding the slyphs stuff goes here if anything's changed. Feel free to catch me up to speed on where that's at if needed.

Actually I think an emotional sort of blow-up would be neat to thread out around the end of the timeskip. Gil will be in a good enough mood to not react aggressively and he may actually be a little more forthcoming about daddy during this time. Of course "emotional blow-up" can mean any number of things so I'm flexible on that.

Sylph stuff is going to be post timeskip (probably) from the sanity of the mods. I shot off a couple of messages, but haven't heard anything back yet. Once I do, I'll let you know.

An emotional blow up would be fun, but I'd have to see where she's at mentally by then, especially if said blow up would set her back. Did you have something in mind you were hoping for as a result?

I think ideally these two would come to an understanding that they are... not as they remember each other, which means moving forward from just "hey it's that guy who killed my dad and tried to kill everyone else too" and "hey it's that little girl whose dad I killed". Once they reconcile (as much as they ever could, anyway, obviously there's no erasing proxy murder) over those different outcomes in different worlds which have made them different people, then there's more wiggle room.

...there's also the matter of Saber to consider, which they're both in agreement on. Like I said, I could see this going a number of different ways, so it can easily be something that winds up beneficial for Rin if she lets off some steam in the process. Kind of like before but with potentially less fireballs to the face.
