Riku wouldn't remember Xion of course, and from what you're saying it sounds like Xion probably wouldn't have known of Riku yet either but Unseelie bros they could probably wind up figuring out that they're from the same world and so many shenanigans. It would be great.

YEAH she'll only be day 49ish if my hopes pan out, so she won't know him but given she's made from Sora memories he'll probably FEEL familiar and she'll probably be sniffing around him like a curious/confused puppy. "WHO ARE YOU WHO ARE YOU..." especially since she won't have "Organization imposter" impressions even.

Yeah, I figure Xion won't see anything out of the norm... but it might poke at him a little bit. Not really in a suspicious way since there's no way for him to regain those memories, but just in a "Huh. I can't believe that in all my run-ins with them, I never once encountered this person" way.

I'm not 100% on canon point yet, but I'm probably going to either go during or post-DDD. I've played Riku from a few different canon points (Monstro in the first game, halfway through 358/2 Days), but I've never played him from that late in the series so it'd be a new set of developments to take into consideration and play with! c:

Even if there's no way to regain it I still imagine there might be... some weirdness. It'd be less prominent with Riku since they only interacted at specific points but... the way I always figure it's like is, basically like someone took a group picture and ripped her out of it. SHE'S gone but... well hey there's this strange hole in everyone's memories that NEEDS THE PRESENCE OF SOMETHING THAT ISN'T THERE to make sense.

That's only one interpretation though, I admit. KH can be so confusing at times.... a lot of the time.................

If he's post-3D though that might give him some clue though, given that crazy dream sequence with the Dive to the Heart questions and such... Otherwise and other than that though, yeah they'll both be flying blind as to what the hell's going on and why, which is something I've never gotten the chance to play before! Although Riku would have to convince her the Organization is bad either way though and that's gonna be a challenge.

I AM NOT SURPRISED BY THIS IN THE SLIGHTEST. She really does give off the "help me keep me safe :c" vibes lmfao

AND YES BASICALLY THAT. For instance, after Xion's Nightmare when Riku's holding her and he sees Roxas running into one of the dark corridors. He'd remember being on Destiny Islands and seeing him, but not remember why he couldn't give chase, not remember why he didn't even try to pursue him. He'd remember that there was something else that had his attention at the moment, something important, but not who or why or how. BUT SLOT XION'S EXISTENCE IN THERE AND SUDDENLY IT ALL BEGINS TO MAKE SENSE. Without, it's just a memory that can't quite be grasped.

and yeah kh is confusing as all get-out but I think that's part of the fun of it 8> being able to theorize and unravel the little bits of it we've got until we've got an idea of the whole!

ALSO YOU ARE RIGHT I had actually forgotten about the Dive to the Heart questions for some reason! Guess who needs to do a refresh on that ahahaha Tbh though even if he has that Riku probably won't bring it up much; they'd have an initial exchange all "WAIT I SAW YOU BEFORE--" "Really? I don't remember you" "....................actually you know what never mind it's not important" and then he'd just be super focused on trying to figure out why it is she appeared in Sora's heart and any connection she might have, though he wouldn't bring it up much because he wouldn't want to freak her out.

IT WOULD LIKELY DEPEND ON CANON POINTS, really. I mean if Saix thinks "this person's of no use to me" then bam. Discarded. Kill without hesitation if need be.

A later Saix would expect her to be a failure again...an earlier one would probably be like "is it worth contacting an unseelie and invoking the ire of the monarchs to make use of her"

Either one would definitely be interesting though. She'd probably be confused either way if he was all radio silent on her...

God yeah I hadn't considered that, re:the if he's from a canonpoint where she'd be considered useless she'd basically need to haul ass out of there most likely (Given how much the monarchs want shards of the opposing side, I don't think that "need be" will be hard to justify).

I did consider that he might be one of the few people who I could definitively say might be about to pull her into some kind of line. Though Xion's so reactive, it'd depend how things played out and how her introduction to the game in general played out.

And yeah CASTMATES AND PLOTTING HAVE THAT UNFORTUNATE (?) EFFECT, I'VE NOTICED....
