TEST DRIVE MEME #7

TEST DRIVE MEME

Considering apping to EACHDRAIDH? Why not give the setting a test run here!

OPTIONAL SCENARIOS

01. ARRIVING IN THE DRABWURLD.
The Seelie and Unseelie courts welcome you not with mirthful revelry, this time around dear friends. There is a seriousness in the air, though the food is still hearty and the imps still mischievous. After you have been briefed on your purpose here, you will find an endless feast and a night filled with entertainment to placate your concerns. Mingle with new arrivals, sneak down the castle halls and make sure your eyes are always on your glass; fairies and imps have no bias when it comes to tricks!

02. THE STATION.
Looking for a little slice of home? The Station gives you all that and more. Take advantage of the wifi, have a cup of fairy-brewed coffee (the one they didn't spit in) or sit back and relax on the patio. You can even move your things into one of the available rooms!

03. WILDCARD.
Your own scenario! Explore the Drabwurld or simply take advantage of your Locket! Be mindful, though -- the monarchs are watching and cross court communication should be done with the utmost secrecy.

[Riku's near the Station at Loch Noa, staring out over the lake and thinking. He came to the Station because people had told him it was like a little piece of home brought to this otherwise ancient land, but it's not his home, not at all. But sitting here by the lake... it's a little bit like home.

At least the waves sound the same.

It isn't that he's homesick. It's hard to be homesick when you've barely been home for the past year and a half. But a part of him chafes, knowing that he isn't there to help everybody else in the upcoming battles against Xehanort.

But that's just why he's gotta find a way to get back, or at the very least to help end this war so that he can ask the monarchs to send him back to the right time. Resolve firm, Riku stands to go. But he isn't very far away when he sees her--a young woman that he recognizes, even if it can't be real.]

Hey!

[What was her name? Did he ever even learn it? He'd only met her once, over ten years ago, but he's almost positive it's the same person. After all, he'd met two strangers from the outside world in a very short timespan--he couldn't forget that.

But when he reaches her, he still doesn't have a name. He's not even sure where to begin.]

Sorry. It's just that you look like someone I met a long time ago.

lmao she's a popular sparring partner apparently. Sorry for lateness, btw! I was super sick. orz

[Aqua's at the lake for some silent contemplation. A lot has happened in her life before coming here, things that have shaken her on a personal level, though her resolve remains firm. Ven, Terra, Master Eraqus, and the cause of all their troubles and heartache, Xehanort. While she's sure that this war between the Seelie and Unseelie is important, she can't help wondering what's happening back home. If the battle is still raging while she's here facing the same battle in a different world.

When she hears the voice, she turns. Surprise and recognition flash across her face. This...it can't be. Aqua remembers that boy, the one who reminded her strongly of Terra. The one she made Sora promise to protect if he ever lost his way. The boy who is supposed to inherit a Keyblade. Yet...this boy is a teenager. That shouldn't be possible.

And that darkness in him is familiar. It reminds her even more of Terra's, yet...there's a fundamental difference in Riku's. She can't quite put her finger on it just yet, still in shock at how it's clearly that boy from the islands, but older.]

Uh...the feeling is mutual, but I saw you more recently. Or, at least, I thought I did.

[She hesitates and then gives him a smile.]

Well, either way, I don't think I said my name. I'm Aqua.
