[Well that makes sense then. Usually their tailors come to them at home, but ready-made is convenient. Especially when she's itching to get out of the kimono and wear something normal for someone her age.

Kyrie dips into a bow, hands clasped in front of her.]

I'm Kyrie Sumadera, it's a pleasure to meet you. I've only these clothes with me, so yes, a few to get started would be good.

[Flora scratches her cheek sheepishly.]

Well...I don't work here, technically speaking, but I know my way around it. I've been here for a while, and so I have, oh a few things.

It's nice to meet you Kyrie! Well, I see you've picked out something really lovely so far, but what are some colours you like, to start?

Another oh- no one's ever called her just 'Kyrie' before but her mother, and even then it's...not usually just 'Kyrie'. But she likes it. And has to take a moment to think about what she actually likes, even by way of colours. It's not something very well hidden either, she's quite clearly thrown by the question.]

Oh, lovely! So do I! It's one of my favourite colours. Let's see, it's getting warmer, so you'll need lighter outfits...

[Flora starts to browse, and pulls out a white and lilac sleeveless dress made of fine, but very breathable material.

She did notice that Kyrie needed to think about something that would be basic to most people, so she'll endeavour to be especially patient. It won't be hard to do, it's not like she minds.]

Do you think you'd like something sleeveless, perhaps? Do you want to try it on?

She smiles and nods as she looks over the dress, reaching out to test the fabric. Excuse her if she actually looks a little overly excited.]

Yes, I think so - sleeveless might be a nice change.

[You know, after wearing clothes with such huge sleeves all the time - because guess who has to wear furisode now, bleh.]

[Her enthusiasm is infectious and Flora smiles brightly at her. Fashion is many things, but self-expression chief among them, and she has a feeling Kyrie hasn't really had what should be a right to do that, and so she quickly finds herself committed to helping her discover that for herself.]

There are change rooms, but...if you don't mind magic, you can get changed a lot faster.

I admit I'm still getting used to the fact that it exists, but I don't mind it at all.

[Actually, it might be interesting. Something she couldn't have believed in otherwise, but now that it's real, it's very interesting, something that's definitely worth looking into.]

[Flora wouldn't have held it against her if she did, for a lot of people, adjustment is very, very necessary, but the fact that she isn't used to this, but is willing to just dive in and go for it warms her heart, she must say.]

Alright, then! Here goes! [Flora snaps her fingers, and there's a spiraling burst of gold that starts at her feet and quickly works its way upward, and a breeze of power that blows past Kyrie and she is very quickly wearing her new dress while her Kimono lays sitting nearby, folded and neat.]

Oh...Kyrie, you look lovely!

[Flora clasps her her hands delightly and can't help saying so because it's true.]

[Magic is about as new and strange as having her life left up to herself, so why not go all in, really? She watches the magic travel up her body, absolutely fascinated by it - and then at the new clothes, and her old ones folded to the side.]

That was very impressive - [Flora-san? Miss Flora?] Flora!

It really is! How do you like it? How does it feel? [Flora makes a spinning motion with her finger.] Turn around a little!

Much lighter, those things are incredibly heavy. I can imagine the summer is much more tolerable like this.

[At least she can switch to yukata in the summer, but it's still multiple layers, still full sleeves, still long, still with obi... She dips her head to agree to turn around, holding her arms out a bit to show the sides as well. One of those people with the figure for anything. except kimono ironically THOSE DON'T WORK SO GOOD WITH THEM TITTIES]

Oh yes, the climate is temperate in Glaschu, but it can still get very warm some days, too. But the dress i yours! You can keep that on, too, while we look though other things.

[Flora's feeling accomplished that she managed to find the first thing that Kyrie likes but more importantly, she is just happy for her.]

Hmm, okay so I have some ideas for the general things you'll need, but are there activities you like to do, Kyrie? Dance, martial arts, or something else? Just so you can get specific things. If we can't find anything here, you can have them made for you, tailored to fit, so it works out either way.

[This time she bows in thanks...and also to give herself an extra moment to think on the question. There's activities she's been made to do which she doesn't actually like, but if they require any special clothing, it tends to be a particular sort of kimono or some such. And what is having free time.]

I can't say I can think of anything which would require particular clothing. I do enjoy kendo, I suppose, but then, it would be more practical to switch to the more common practice here.
