After you have been briefed on your purpose here, you will find an endless feast and a night filled with entertainment to placate your concerns. Mingle with new arrivals, sneak down the castle halls and make sure your eyes are always on your glass; fairies and imps have no bias when it comes to tricks! 02. THE STATION. Looking for a little slice of home? The Station gives you all that and more. Take advantage of the wifi, have a cup of fairy-brewed coffee (the one they didn't spit in) or sit back and relax on the patio. You can even move your things into one of the available rooms! 03. WILDCARD. Your own scenario! Explore the Drabwurld or simply take advantage of your Locket! Be mindful, though -- the monarchs are watching and cross court communication should be done with the utmost secrecy.

[ There's no small amount of irony in those words, really. A younger, happier Zack Fair from another world's take on heroism would only make him smile sadly now. He isn't entirely sure what a hero is anymore or if they really exist.

Zack looks up when another stranger approaches and smiles a bit. If Terra was expecting recognition, sadly, that isn't happening. ]

Plenty of grass to spare, I think.

[ Have a seat, Terra, he won't bite. ]

The view's not too bad.

[There's no recognition on Zack's face and honestly? Terra's fine with that. He couldn't say that he knew him well after all, so it was probably for the best. He nods and takes a seat next to Zack on the grass, remembering the last time he'd just sat down like this. The night before leaving the Land of Departure. Looking up, he can't help but agree with him on the view; even with the light from the Caer close by, it was still easy to see the stars hanging up there.

He realizes he should probably say something.]

So...come here often?

[ It's been a while since he looked at stars like this, too. Or at least, since he could look at them without fear of being ambushed or something like that.

He doesn't mind the silence himself, but when Terra breaks it with that question, he can't help a soft laugh. ]

First time, actually. I just got here a little while ago.

[ He turns over a little to look at Terra. ]

You?

Me too.

[He's a little unaware of why Zack laughs at his question, considering it was a genuine one. You couldn't really tell who was new or who was old just by looking at people. Some carried their importance upon their shoulders while others looked humbled.

The silence isn't so bad; Terra's surprisingly used to it, but he knows it can get a bit lonely sometimes. He looks out the corner of his eye at Zack before glancing back at the stars, not wanting to see no recognition on his face.]

My name's Terra.

[ Because irony, Terra. Zack is still getting his bearings, too, and it's been a very strange sort of day.

If he knew that Terra was expecting recognition, he would feel at least a little bad (and more than a little confused) that he didn't know the man. As it is, he is oblivious, and the other's name doesn't ring any bells. ]

It's nice to meet you, Terra. I'm Zack.

[ Flopping back over, he looks at the stars too. ]

Do you know what you're gonna do once you get settled in here?

You too.

[He's a little disappointed, but he can deal with it. There's not much about Zack that has changed after all, perhaps just a bit older and wiser. Terra remains sitting up while Zack flops over, though he does end up leaning back on his hands. They're a different set of stars to the ones he knows, a different set for everyone, but they're familiar and comforting at the same time. Somewhere up there were other worlds, and that was about as cold comfort as you could get.

The question has him a bit by surprise, but he shrugs anyway. What was he going to do?]

Formally offer my services. I've heard the monarchs show themselves every now and then. I'd like to know where to start. I think they might have an answer. [He pauses and then tilts his head towards Zack.] What about you?

[ It seemed like as good a question as any to ask. Zack himself has been ruminating a lot over it, and just....adjusting to the fact that he is, indeed, alive. There are things he's been told about this world, of course, but Zack is the sort who likes to see things with his own eyes.

He lets out a quiet hum. ]

I think I'd like travel. See what's out there before I make any decisions.

[ Zack looks at Terra. ]

I've heard a couple different things today, and I'd like to find out how true they are.

[There's been things Terra has been told about this world as well, likely the same propaganda that Zack has. The Void concerns him the most, being a keyblade wielder and designated defender against the Darkness - ironic all things considered - so he inclines his head with a nod, turning his attention to the other man.]

I might travel too, once I speak with the monarchs. I'd like to see this Void for myself first of all.

[He pauses, looking up at the stars again.]

If it's anything like the Darkness back where I come from, it's my duty to check up on it. I heard it was three or four miles off the south coast.

[ He did hear some of the propaganda, yes, but he also heard some things for other shardbearers who've been in the drabwurld for a while. He isn't entirely sure how much he should believe of one or the other, but he doesn' mind looking for answers for himself. ]

I'd like to see it, too.

[ He tilts his head slightly. ]

The Darkness?

[There's a pause before Terra's demeanour shifts, remembering the rage he'd felt before coming here, when Xehanort had threatened Ven. His brow furrows slightly and he raises a hand, tapping into that feeling. It was still new to him, still something he wasn't sure of, but tendrils of dark energy start to pour from his hand before he shuts it off, shaking his head.]

Where I come from, all hearts are capable of Light or Darkness, depending. There's seven pure hearts of Light, all supposedly from the keyblade war that shattered the χ-blade into twenty pieces.

[What else is Darkness but hate and rage? Aqua's words came back to him, causing him to bite his lip and look at his hand. And then there's people like me who give over to their anger, he thinks to himself, studying is hand for a moment before turning his attention back to Zack.]

It might not be the same, but it's still my duty to see to this Void.

[ Sitting up a little, alert now, Zack watches the display, not so much with surprise or horror, but rather....curiosity. Magic isn't such a strange thing to him so to see Terra manifest his inner "Darkness" isn't much of a stretch for him to believe.

All the talk about hearts of pure light and a keyblade war don't mean a lot to him (it sounds like a legend that would take a fair amount of time to tell in detail), but his curiosity is piqued. He enjoys stories like that, but after looking at Terra's face, Zack quietly decides to ask about it another time.

He hums softly. ]

You make it sound like this Darkness is a bad thing.

[ But- ]

If all of us have some of it, is it really that bad?
