hahaha yes Damon gets pretty good at obsessing, but then again Elena gets pretty good at being creepily codependent so. I would probably take her somewhere around 3x01, I'm thinking.

Yeah, I wanted to take him from a place where he wouldn't be spending all of his time/effort trying to get home to Elena, because once they hook up, he becomes incredibly fixated. Not that it's a bad thing, but... yeah. I love S1-3 Damon.
