Hmm. Well. Kind of saw that coming. It's a little crushing for second, but the Guardians never seemed like particularly friendly people, so Scott puts his hand down and carries on like that didn't just happen. Don't take it personally, don't draw attention to it. From what he remembers of the Guardians, that's the best thing to do.

"I've never even heard of these people." Scott pauses, hesitating. Her mood's openly stiff; he doesn't want to be rude or make her angry. But there's reason to suspect she might know more than him. She's probably seen a lot more than he ever has.
