TEST DRIVE MEME #8

TEST DRIVE MEME
Considering apping to EACHDRAIDH? Why not give the setting a test run here! OPTIONAL SCENARIOS 01. ARRIVING IN THE DRABWURLD. The Seelie and Unseelie courts welcome you not with mirthful revelry, this time around dear friends. There is a seriousness in the air, though the food is still hearty and the imps still mischievous. After you have been briefed on your purpose here, you will find an endless feast and a night filled with entertainment to placate your concerns. Mingle with new arrivals, sneak down the castle halls and make sure your eyes are always on your glass; fairies and imps have no bias when it comes to tricks! 02. THE STATION. Looking for a little slice of home? The Station gives you all that and more. Take advantage of the wifi, have a cup of fairy-brewed coffee (the one they didn't spit in) or sit back and relax on the patio. You can even move your things into one of the available rooms! 03. WILDCARD. Your own scenario! Explore the Drabwurld or simply take advantage of your Locket! Be mindful, though -- the monarchs are watching and cross court communication should be done with the utmost secrecy. |

"I am bothered by it, though I've learned not to voice my complaints where the Monarch might overhear them," Hercules replies in a gentle tone. "There's little to be gained by it at any rate. You are here, and that means that for the time being that means accepting thing as they are, for change comes as slowly here as it does on lofty Olympus."
He offers her a significant look, his eyes trailing towards the dais where the Queen would sit.

"I do not know your Olympus, thought from your words it sounds significant." Her lips twitch toward a smile, but it makes her expression no friendlier.
"I suppose I take your meaning, though."
no subject
"May I ask your name?"
no subject
"I am Angela. Of neither Heven nor Asgard."
So much for gods.

"You speak as though you know Asgard, though. How is it that you know Odin's folk, but not the children of Zeus?"
no subject
"Take no offense. I was raised on stories of Asgardian treachery. Of the war between Heven and Asgard. From my earliest memories, there were stories of Odin's deceptions, Heimdall's voyeurism and Volstagg's unnatural appetites." She pauses, sizing him up again. "If we do not remember the children of Zeus, it is no poor reflection on them."

And an enemy of Asgard would be an enemy of Olympus, in his mind.

She looks at his hand but does not reach to accept it, instead shifting in her seat with veiled awkwardness. She's never been good with unexpected touching.
"And your relationship with Asgard, Song of Zeus?"
no subject
"Thor is my boon companion. One of my closest friends."
no subject
She responds somewhat grudgingly, unsure of her feelings and uninterested in sharing them directly, but still drawn to comment. "You are fortunate in your friends, in that case."

"Have you been to Asgard yet? Or...Midgard?"
no subject
"I have seen Midgard, yes. Asgard... That is an invitation I have not yet accepted."
